Chad’s POV

I was so happy that Jill’s mum had got back in contact. I knew that Jill enjoyed the time that she had with her when they were in my pack. Since I now know who her father is I could fully understand why she did not want Jill knowing. Even though he found out about her anyway thanks to fucking Angela. She was being sensible living in the centre of town. He would not risk trying to get to her with humans around. I had heard the rumours regarding Aaron and hunters. I was not sure how much of it was true, but the rumours are that he was captured and tortured by a group of hunters. That is apparently why he is so cruel and heartless now. The torture made him that way. I am not sure how much of that is true, but either way he will never receive an ounce of sympathy from me. While I cooked breakfast, I kept thinking about the hunters that kidnapped Aaron. It happened when he was just 15. His parents did not even look for him, his father was apparently just as bad as Aaron is now.
