I could not remember most of the afternoon, Suddenly I was on the balcony and saw James arrive home in my dads car. I was about to go down and greet him when my mind went into fog. I felt the girl wrap her arm around me. But I could not do anything. It was like I was frozen in place. I looked down and suddenly I had no idea who the man was who was with James. I saw him look up at me and his eyes glaze over, suddenly he looked at me with fear all over his face. What had happened so quickly to make him so scared? James looked up at me with a frown and then made his way into the house.
