chapter 30

Leon, after the courtroom conversation with his Beta, retired to his room. He wanted to rest a bit while the party was being organized by the team he had put together.

He pushed his door open and was shocked to see Petra seated on the bed. Frowning, he shut the door behind him and made sure to lock it in case anyone came in.

"What are you doing here? Haven't you been assigned to your room?" He asked as he walked towards where she sat.

She stood to her feet and fiddled with her fingers. He wondered what she was up to in his room. "Delilah asked me to come here,"

"Why?"

She shrugged. "She said you had some explaining to do for me. I also heard there'd be a party to welcome me tonight. Why don't you give me a run down of how all this is going to go? I don't want to go out there and make a slip, you know. I know you wouldn't like that."

Leon could sense her attraction to him from where she stood and he knew the reason she was here was to form some sort of bond
