Delilah was waiting outside the building for him and as soon as he was done with meeting with the elders, he went to meet her outside.

She looked bright this morning. She wasn't dressed in a dark shaded dress today. A pale blue gown that fell around her knees and accentuated her slender figure. Her hair was straightened and curled and she had a bit of makeup on.

"You look different today. Really beautiful. I thought you hated looking made up," He said as he stood beside her.

She turned to look at him. "You must have forgotten that today is my birthday, Leon,"

His eyes widened as he gaped at her. Then he grabbed her by the arms and pulled her into a hug. "I am so sorry. I totally forgot."

"I am mad at you but I understand how it has been for you for the last few weeks. The war and all of that."

"Happy birthday, godmother," He whispered into her ears as his arms remained wrapped around her. "This calls for a celebration tonight and don't even say no,"
