I went to the bathroom to check my cheeks. It was red and swollen. “You will be fine. It’s a matter of time,”I told myself. The pain has reduced a bit but I still have to take drugs. Doctor Mason gave me some pain relief which won’t affect the baby.

I fell on the bed and stared at the ceiling. No one was coming to save me. Val was the only one I could speak to, to be calm. Michael has my phone with him. I opened the rules booklet for the house. There were many rules. “Wow, it even has sections”. Some rules have divided sections.

On the first page were rules to the sitting room and diner table. Whoever gets to the sitting room first decides what channel to watch. Business news must be watched in the morning and night.
