Hundred and Thirty Four

The sun blinds me fully the minute I step out of the abandoned house.

My feet touching the hard floor echoed through the woods making low rustling sounds as I move further.

I held on to my stomach which wouldn't stop growling of hunger.

I felt a bit dizzy myself not being able to get food on time.

I was headed back down the road I had come in from.

I had my eyes to the sky shielding my eyes from the sun as I looked around me making it so obvious that I was far away from my pack.

This isn't good!!!..

I let out a sigh staring at the trees down the road, hoping to get a tree filled with edible fruits.

I had my hands tucked in my jacket walking through the lonely road hoping it was indeed safe to be on that road alone.

I knew the rogue men of the woods to be scared of light and so know them to always want to come out at night.

That indeed was part of the few reasons I felt bold walking down the road on my own.

At that some point, I heard birds flying off like they had just been scar
