Jaselyn's POV 

After having the suppressant, I was overcome by drowsiness and slept most of the day, going in and out of consciousness multiple times but it greatly alleviated my withdrawal symptoms.

The following day, the doctor performed the procedure on me but I was kept unconscious through it all so I don't know much of what happened except that Rion was part of the ritualistic treatment as he's giving his blood to me. 

When I woke up two days later, Rion was sitting by my bedside. He was still recovering from the donation but he was very happy to see me. 

He called the doctor in and she quickly gave me a check up. After which she happily announced that the procedure had been a success. They had feared I might not wake up after the blood transfusion because like she had mentioned before, the ritual would fail and my body would reject the blood if Rion's love for me wasn't strong enough or genuine.
