It was the first name she blurted when the man's face got stricken from the little light that came from the window.
His face was afflicted with pain and his soaked bloodied coat got slits on the back. He stared at Blanche like a zombie that can bore a hole on hers before he collapsed and rested his face on her shoulder as he murmured in pain.
Blanche held him and took a step back, it was no time for thinking when she can smell blood and she was made as his pole that kept him from stumbling.
"Hey..." she trailed, she tried to poke his cheeks with her hand her and tried her best to adjust to the weight of his body.
"What happened?" She held both his cheeks and glowered at him.
He tried to opened his eyes and blinked repeatedly. "You...... run...... blood."
He closed his eyes again and crashed his body to hers that made them fell on the floor.
