Chapter 4

Jiang Ning however had no idea what was going through the female lead(Ning Xuya) and her mother's mind and even if she did , she would simply roll her eyes and curse the author for making such a poisonous woman ,the female lead.

Time passed by quickly and Jiang Ning new album recording started .

However , Jiang Ning couldn't settle her heart, afterall she was in a novel , how can her life be filled with so much warmth and comfort .And for reason unknown her left eye kept twitching, today .

Good fortune is hard to come by but Bad fortune follows after the silence before the storm ,this was something that Jiang Ning knew therefore she couldn't help but worry .

Throughout the day Jiang Ning tried to focus on the songs and somehow made it half way through , by the grace of Gods , her body was use to singing and she could easily do the recording

.She was focused on singing but then the studio's door was slammed opened and Wei De rushed in with a worried look on his face .

Looking at Wei De anxious look , Jiang Ning 's heart went in a frenzy .As she quickly answered the call that Wei De rushed to deliver to her . And within seconds she found herself rushing out of their recording studio.

At the hospital .

"Yan Yan !" Jiang Ning rushed in front of her son who looked pale and clammy , sweat could be seen on his forehead as he continued to look at the emergency room "What happened the teacher-"

"Xinya was pushed by some kids , it was the day of their outing .I don't know, mum what will happen to Xinya , will she ?"

"

Nothing will happen ! Don't worry " looking at the red eyes of Si Yiyan, Jiang Ning felt her heart go cold and a vicious look passed in her eyes .Pushed by a kid? no , things are starting to look fishy .

Jiang Ning felt Si Yiyan tremble and she hurriedly pulled the child in her arms , for the first time she realized that Si Yiyan was still a twelve year child , how horrible and scared he might have felt when Xinya's teacher called him to tell about Xinya's accident! Jiang Ning also realised that no matter how much she tries to keep herself out of trouble , it doesn't mean others won't go looking for trouble with her .

The previous owner was pushed to her death , now Si Xinya was pushed down in an outing , can things be so coincidental ? She doesn't believe it ! Maybe she was reading into this accident to much but she was someone who grew up defending her life against her step mother and step sister , they too have used a numerous number of schemes in the dark , she doesn't believe that Ning Yuya had nothing to do with her and Xinya's accident , afterall Ning Yuya has both reason and motive to commit such crimes!

Hugging Si Yiyan, Jiang Ning felt her the wet patch on her blouse and with the trembling of Si Yiyan's shoulders , she knew that her cold and aloof som could no longer continue to bottle up his emotions .

She felt the tightening of her throat throat, as she recalled the pitiful life of these two children .

Born without love , raised without love and died without love , from beginning till the end , this pair of siblings suffered so much .

The original Jiang Ning was good to them but only to a certain level and Si Ye Han didn't cared about them , with such a poor upbringing its not a surprise that this new son of her's has gotten used to suppress his emotions but now with his sister in being danger he could no longer continue holding everything in .

Sighing , Jiang Ning hugged Si Yiyan even more tightly. She wished she could infuse her warmth into him , she wanted him to know that even if his real mother was long dead , she was here and she would be with him till death .She wanted to tell him that she would give him and his sister all the love they have missed out on , because she was here and she loved this two kids as if they were own .

"Don't worry hun, mum's here " she continued rubbing Si Yi Yan back as she consoled him and herself as well .She tried to act tough for Si Yiyan but internally she was worried as well .

Si Xinya having an accident wasn't in the story, after all Jiang Ning was dead and Ning Yuya had married Si Ye Han successfully, therefore there was no need for the other party to harm Jiang Ning children.

This was one of the reason because of which she suspected Ning Yuya .

After ten minutes of continued sobbing Si Yiyan finally pulled away from her as he wiped his swollen eyes , the door to emergency room opened. Both Si Yiyan and Jiang Ning turned to look at the doctor , their expression turning hopeful but looking at the doctor's grim expression, Jiang Ning felt that someone had gripped her heart and gave it a hard squeeze .

"Doctor my daughter-"

"She is fine , the wound is not severe but she had severe blood loss and unfortunately her blood type is Ro subtype,we-"

But Jiang Ning didn't have to listen to the doctor anymore, she already knew it .It was mentioned in the book once that Si Yiyan had the same blood type as his mother but Si Xinya inherited the Si family rare blood group .

There was only 2% of Ro subtype donors and they were hard to find , now in need where will she find a donor for her daughter , if the hospital didn't have it .

Jiang Ning felt her heart go cold as she looked at Si Yiyan who have gone pale , she could still hear the doctor repeated requests of arranging a donor for Si Xinya but Jiang Ning could hardly hear him .She knew that the only person who can help them right now was Si Ye Han , her husband but she didn't wanted to owe him! No , she cannot think in this way

Saving Xinya was more important with that she turned around to look at her son.

"Yan Yan call your father "

Si Yiyan looked at his mother who looked pale and worried , he knew those three words ' call your father' , must have taken a huge amount of courage . Si Yiyan was aware of her mother's disgust, hatred and depression that came with his father's arrival but he knew this as well that right now only his father could help Xinya .

Father? Si Yiyan didn't even want to acknowledge that man as his father , his only wish was to let that man stay away from him and his family as long as his father don't come near his mother , his mother will not go into hysterical fits .

But they were at their wits end , who asked Xinya to inherit that bloody rare group of their sorry excuse of a father! but right now Si Yiyan could not do anything , gritting his teeth , he punched the familiar yet unknown number of Si Ye Han .

After three rings the phone was finally picked up

"Dad-" Si Yiyan began but rest of his speech was cut off when a woman answered the call instead of his father .

"Yan Yan is that you ?"

Si Yiyan looked horrified even Jiang Ning who sat down on the hospital bench with her face covered looked up .

"Yan Yan , its aunty Ning ! Do you need your father ? He is in the shower right now, woukd you like to talk to him .I can give him his cell in the shower , if its an emergency . I believe your father would get angry -"

But the rest of her words didn't came, Si Yiyan had ended the call . Anxious and scared he looked at his mother , who was yet to get her healthy complexion back .He was twelve not two , how could he not understand what Ning Yuya was suggesting , they were in US right now , it was late in night .

What could a man and woman be doing if a man need to take a shower this late ? Si Yiyan didn't even dare to think !

Jiang Ning however was severely disappointed with this husband of her , his daughter was in emergency and he was out there having fun .

"Yan Yan call your grandpa , I know he is old but we can just hope the hospital will make an exception with the arrival of Old master Si ."

That's right! His grandfather had the same blood group as well. With that Si Yiyan did not dare to waste even a singls minute and called his grandpa.

"Where is my grand daughter!" a roar resounded through the silent corridor of the hospital , as an old man in his late fifty's rushed in . He was dressed in navy blue night pyjamas with a matching robe .

Jiang Ning felt her jaw drop as the old man rushed in , behind him was uncle Zhou who seemed to be carrying a pair of shirt and pants . But The old man paid no attention to him and rushed forward to her .

"Ning'er , Yan Yan ..Xinya how is she ?"

"Gr- Dad , she is in fine but she needs blood urgently ; I know its too much to ask but could you "

When Jiang Ning saw old master Si , she was shocked .This old master Si was very similar to her grandfather in the real life , the only one who treated her warmly . Looking at old master Si, she almost called him grandpa .

"Too much ? I would bleed dry for my XinXin ! where is the doctor ? how dare you leave my daughter unattended " with another roar Old master Si rushed to donate his blood .

But no matter how unreasonable old master Si was , at the end he was the owner of Si industries nobody dared to mess with him . With his arrival both Si Yiyan and Jiang Ning took a breathe of relief .

"Yan Yan your grandfather is donating his blood , he is old I think I should go home and prepare sone nourishing soup for him , can you wait here?"

Looking at his mother who was treating him as a child , Si Yiyan blushed but felt giddy inside ..His mother was worried about him! However he didn't show his happiness on his face and nodded solemnly.

"Where is your mother ?"

"She is preparing some nourishing food for you and Xinya "

Hearing Si Yi yan answer , Old master Si was shocked previously Uncle Zhou had told him that Jiang Ning started pampering both Si Yiyan and Xinya , at first he didn't believed uncle Zhou but now , umm was he going to eat the food his daughter in law prepared for him ?

Actually he was jealous of his old friends who ate food made by their daughter in law, did his Ning'er forgave him? Afterall if not for his stubbornness , Jiang Ning wouldn't be tied in such unhappy marriage .

When Jiang Ning returned , Si Xinya was wide awake and playing with the teddy bear that Wei De has brought .

Jiang Ning was surprised , she knew how busy Wei De was with her new album release . But he still made time to visit Xinya .

"You should have gone home " looking at Wei De exhausted appearance , Jiang Ning felt he was pushing himself too much .

"How could I ? When our precious XinXin is injured how could I sleep?"

Old master Si watched as Wei De and Jiang Ning conversed , a while ago a nurse came by and she assumed Wei De as , Xinya's father but Old master Si didn't blame her .

If not for him knowing that Wei De and Jiang Ning were cousin once removed , even he would have thought that both of them were a couple .

These were the times when he felt even more disappointed with his son , Xinya was his daughter but she was being doted upon by a stranger and Si Ye Han as her father was doting on a child who wasn't even his . If not for him worried about Jiang Ning , he would have shot this disappointment of a son and killed himself !

"Dad ,here " when Jiang Ning pushed a bowl of freshly cooked fish soup , Old master Si was pulled out of his reverie .

The soup smelled amazing there was no smell fishy smell and it looked appetizing.

Old master Si watched as Si Yiyan and Xinya gulped down the soup happily , not wanting to miss out he too took a sip and one sip became two , then three and very soon the entire bowl was empty .

Jiang Ning watched Old master Si sipping her soup happily , this was her greatest happiness .Her grandfather died when she was still young , now watching Old master Si tasting her cooking she felt that she was feeding her grandfather.

"Dad , why don't you come and live with us ?" Jiang Ning remembered that Old master Si lived alone in the novel , apart from some special occasions , he didn't took a step in her house

.Even at his death , he died alone with no one at his side , this was something that Jiang Ning found even more disturbing .With two grand children and a son , Old master lived such a lonely life and she wished to change it because Old master Si was just as cute as her grandfather .

Old master Si who was drinking his second bowl of soup nearly choked himself , if not for Si Yiyan patting his back, he was afraid he would have already choked .

"You ..You want me to live with you all?" Old master Si was surprised , he knew his daughter in law blamed him in her heart that was one of the reason why he never visited her and his grand children ;but now that daughter in law was asking him to live with her , how great was this !

"Yes grandpa come live with us !"

"Why don't you agree dad , you can help me in keeping an eye on the kids ."

Even Si Yiyan was looking at him with expectant eyes , under his grandchildren and daughter in law coaxing, how could Old master Si refuse he at once agreed !

"Wei De, keep an eye on Ning Yuya and report to me what she does !" Once Jiang Ning left the hospital room for a cup of coffee , she dragged Wei De along

"You ..do you doubt her , do you think she is behind what is happening ?"

"I'm not suspecting her but i think she is related afterall she has both the motive as well as the reason to harm me and my child "

"If so then I will make sure that she learns her lesson! " Wei De agreed with Jiang Ning , Ning Yuya had the motive to harm Jiang Ning and Si Xinya , if Jiang Ning died she could marry Si Ye Han without any problems ,if Si Xinya was dead then Si Ye Han would have the reason to divorce Jiang Ning , in both cases Ning Yuya was the one who stood at gain .

While Wei De and Jiang Ning were busy discussing Ning Yuya matters they didn't paid attention to their surroundings and unknown to them someone heard their discussion and this someone was no one else but Si Yiyan .

Listening to his mother and Uncle Wei , Si Yiyan gripped his hands behind his back .So in the end it was that woman !
