Adonis's POV Today the security guard casually opens the gates for me as soon as I hop out of my car. However he furrows his brows a little, glancing at the plastic bag in my hands and then looks at his watch as I pass him and enter into the drive way. It was only past 8 am. I couldn't wait any longer to see Theo. In fact, I couldn't even sleep properly yesterday. I kept thinking about him the whole night. I went to sleep at 3 am or something and was wide awake even before 6. Then I went to the kitchen and made some chicken soup and Turkey sandwiches along with herbal tea for Theo and quickly packed them before Mom could wake up and catch me cooking. She thought I got basketball practice today and that's why I left early. Miss Brown, the maid lady from yesterday is the one who opens the doors for me. "Wow Adonis! You came so early!" she says in surprise. Yesterday afternoon when I left, I had told her I'd come again today but it looks like she definitely didn't expect me here this
Theodore's POV "How did it happen?" Adonis asks, glancing at my arm whilst buttoning down my shirt. Thankfully he let me change my shorts in the bathroom and only insisted on helping me wear my shirt. Currently he stands hovering in front of me while I sit on the edge of the bed, staring at his adam's apple and his strong chin with sharp jawline. "You had a nightmare and rolled out of the bed?" "Oh..hmm.." I nod. He gently grabs my arm and softly rub my fingers. Then he suddenly bends down and kisses my palm, once again taking me aback and giving me butterflies in my stomach. "How did you manage to roll out of the bed when you have such a large bed, little one?" he asks looking up at my face while I stare at him, still not out of the shock from the kiss. "I-I somehow......don't kiss me like that!" He smiles and leans down, kissing over my plaster cast. I feel more butterflies take birth in my stomach although his lips didn't touch my skin this time. "I kissed you so that your h
Theodore's POV In the soft glow of my sunlit room on Sunday afternoon, I lie upon my bed with pillows surrounding me, my gaze fixed upon the hands of the brown clock on the opposite wall above the windows, their graceful movement echoing the rhythm of time itself. As minutes slip away, my eyes trace the delicate unending springs of the thin bewitching second hand, the movement both mesmerizing and tantalizing. The minute hand deliberately continuing it's journey towards 12, the hour hand impatient to touch 3. But then in an hour it will leave 3 and go to 4, then to 5 and 6 and 7. What a Casanova! I wonder if Adonis lost interest already. He said he'll definitely come today, but didn't come yet. Maybe he finally realised this is just too foolish and he is simply wasting his time. Maybe he decided to find someone else. If so, good! But can't he just be my friend? It was nice spending time with him. The last two days were great. Although I wasn't feeling very well physically, I was
Adonis's POV I stare at Theo in fascination as his green eyes, wide with wonder, roam the expanse of the art gallery, taking in the kaleidoscope of colors and shapes that adorn the walls. Each stroke of the artist's brush seems to be telling him a story and I feel happy with my choice to take him here instead of to an arcade or a park. Simply looking at his bright face, I feel my heart melt. The soft light from the gallery's skylights cascades upon his features, brightening his every smile and gasp of awe. And I feel just so content, simply standing by his side, holding his hand and watching his every movement. I loosen the grip of my fingers on his left hand as I notice the little fingers protruding from his plaster cast itching with an uncontainable desire to touch the canvases. But strangely, he doesn't let go of my hands. He holds me tightly whilst smiling at the painting of a serene landscape with vibrant colours. "It reminds me of our camp," he tells me. I smile, glancing at
Theodore's POV "Did you do it again as a one time thing?" Adonis asks, staring at my mouth as I chew down the food, my lips shivering and face twitching in nervousness. "I don't know," I reply and lean forward to take another bite of the burger. But he quickly pulls his hand away. I look down at my lap, too nervous to look at his face. "I just wanted to thank you for making me lunch." He places the burger back on the plate. "So, that's how you say thanks, little one?" He asks. I don't look up. "Hmm..but that wasn't enough." "What?" The next moment, two strong arms grab my knees and spread them wide before I feel his warm lips on mine, his body press against me and his hands cups my face. "That wasn't even barely enough," he feeds huskily into my mouth before starting to devour my lips. I can't make myself to pull away as an intense desire washes over me with his each passionate peck. I wrap a hand around his shoulder and close my eyes, melting into the kiss. His lips, like pow
Adonis's POV I open the front doors, only to instantly panic seeing my best friend's impatient face and I curse myself inwardly for not checking through the windows before opening the door. "Hey!" He says whilst barging in. "W..wait! What are you doing here?" I squeal, quickly grabbing his wrist as I know he is going nowhere but towards the stairs. He frowns at my hand and then jerks it away. "What?" He raises an eyebrow. "Yeah what? Nothing!" I shrug. "Something is fishy," he mumbles. "No! Nothing is fishy. C'mon, sit here," I pushes him to the sofa. "Did you have coffee, already? No, right? I'll make you." "What the heck, Ad!" "What? You don't want coffee? What about tea then?" "What is in your room?" He asks. "Nothing!!" And he jumps up from the sofa and barges to the stairs, running upstairs. I rush behind him, yelling him to stop! Before I can catch him, he kicks open my room door and then pauses at the doorway in surprise. "Oh! I expected to see some girl. But who
Theodore's POV "Theo! Theo! Theo! Wake up! I'm back!" I open my eyes to my little sister Hazel giggling and squealing loudly, running around my bed. "Woah! You are back?" I laugh, slowly sitting up from the bed and rubbing my eyes. "Yeah!" She giggles and crawls up on the bed and into my lap. Then she gently grabs my plastered arm. "How's your hand? When can you get rid of this?" "Soon.." I smile and press a kiss on her forehead. "I missed you." "I too missed you so much!" She says in her cute chirpy voice and leans in giving me a kiss on my cheek, making my heart melt. Then she gives me a quick tight hug and pulls away, looking at me with sparkling brown eyes. "I feel so much better now," she sighs like an adult. "Oh why? You weren't feeling good at Uncle's house?" I ask. "Not at all!" She huffs. "I came running off from there!" "You came running off from there? So, Scarlet hasn't come with you?" "No, she'd only come at evening when Dad and Mom comes. You know I'm done with
Theodore's POV "Theodore!" Miss Brown calls my name, frantically barging into my room, pushing open the door after hurriedly knocking just once. I quickly sit up from the bed where I have been comfortably lying between my pillows, texting Adonis after having breakfast. "Your Dad is very angry. Like really angry! He is calling you. Come downstairs immediately." "What's wrong?" I ask, feeling a tremor run down my body. "I don't know. He got a call from someone and he suddenly got angry. Please come down quickly," she says and turns around hurriedly leaving my room. I look at my phone screen to see Adonis's last message. 'Baby, I'll call you later. Break is over. Gotta go." He was texting me in between his basketball practice. With shivering fingers, I text him an 'okay' and place the phone aside. I feel my knees tremble as I crawl out of the bed and slowly walk out of the room. Did someone see me and Adonis together in the art gallery and inform Dad?! Or what if it's a
