Chapter one hundred and thirty-nine

Just like what Matthew said, all the newspapers that published news about our marriage removed that news, and soon after, these articles all published a correction and apology for their wrong.

Matthew's parents still hadn't contacted him, even though he called them they didn't answer, this time they were really angry. This was something we both anticipated and thought about, but at the moment we couldn't think of any effective solution other than waiting for our baby to be born.

I would have a baby soon, Mr and Mrs. Brown loved our baby very much, so I was sure they would not be able to leave us for long but had to ask about me and the baby, otherwise they certainly wouldn't sleep peacefully.

They would probably contact us in a few days, but it would certainly be a long time before their anger subsided.

Everything was fine now but somehow I always felt restless and insecure. I thought I hid my feelings very well, but to my surprise, Matthew found out that I wasn't normal.
