Chapter 6

Raunak's POV.

Today is our wedding reception. I am waiting for Divya to get ready. She is in our room getting ready. Everyone from our family already reached the venue.

"Sir..." The stylish called and I looked towards them and get mesmerized by the beauty of the angel in front of me. I was speechless. I am not able to describe her beauty in words. She looked at me and smiled shyly.

"Beautiful.." those words just slipped from my mouth. I don't know what is happening with me. Unknown emotions were arising in me. I want to hide her from the world, I want to protect her. 

Suddenly my phone buzzed breaking the moment. "Hello..." I picked up the phone and spoke. "Where are you guys? Everyone is waiting for you. Guests are started arriving." Dipti said from the other side. " Calm down Dipti we are on our way." I replied. "Ok come quickly." She said hanging up. "Let's go Divya." I told her. She nodded and we went to our car. We sat inside the car and drove off to the venue. It took us half an hour to reach their.

Divya's POV

We entered the hall. It was beautifully decorated with flowers and fairy lights. We were taken to the stage and one by one everyone came to us and congratulated us. It was a huge party as it is Raunak Khanna's wedding reception everyone was present there from film stars to politicians to his business associates. But my eyes was searching for certain someone and suddenly I spotted them at the entrance. It was my family. Maa and papa came towards me and hugged me I hugged them back. I was meeting them only after 24 hours but it felt like years I missed them so much I parted from the hug and said "I miss you." " We miss you too beta." Maa said. "Look at you.. you are  looking so beautiful just like a princess " papa complemented me. "How are you Raunak." Papa hugged Raunak and asked him. "I am good." He replied. "Where is Bhai maa." I asked curiously looking here and there. "He has to go to Bangalore for an urgent meeting." Papa replied and I nodded my head. They left the stage to meet my in laws. I was feeling sad because of Bhai. I know he is worried for me and that is why angry with this marriage. I was thinking these things when suddenly Raunak hold my hand and I looked towards him. "Don't be said... It's ok... He will understand one day." He said and smile at me. I smiled back.

Finally the party ends peacefully. I was feeling very tired but as we stepped outside the venue reporters gathered around us and attacked us with their questions. Guards were trying to stop them but there were a lot of them I don't know where they come from and who called them.

"Ms. Divya why did you marry Mr. Raunak in place of your sister?"

"Ms. Divya were you and Mr. Raunak having un affair before?"

"Why did you do this to your sister?"

"Were you so desperate to getting married that you snatched away your sisters fiance?"

I was hurt by their questions. How could they think so low of me. I don't know from where they got this information?

"SHUT UP" Raunak shouted angrily. And I flinched everything went silent for some seconds. I can see the fear in the eyes of everyone present their. I looked at Raunak and he was fuming in anger.

"Why we got married and why I didn't marry Myra. It's my personal decision. You don't have any right to interfere in my personal life." He said with looking directly at the them. He turned his head towards me , his eyes softened and he said "and one more thing... This lady here... Is not Ms. Divya Agarwal anymore... She is Mrs. Divya Raunak Khanna... My wife... I married her legally. And if anyone tried to hurt her physically or mentally will have to face me." He said the last part looking at them. 

He held my hand and dragged me towards our car. And we drove off. I don't know what happened at there but I did not expect anyone to think like that about me. I didn't marry him out of will. I marry him because of the situations. As I was thinking about this I didn't realize when I started to cry. Raunak stopped the car and came close to me and took me into his warm embrace. I wrapped my arms around him and cried my heart out.

"Cry as much you want to... Let everything out. But remember one thing I am always here for you." He said and I hugged him even tighter.
