The journey back to New York was faster and when the airplane landed, Kate didn’t feel nauseous as she had felt during her first flight. As she stepped into the street, all that remained of South Africa were the memories and pictures on her phone. She breathed the industrial air of the city as Denzel’s Mercedes stopped before her.
