Lyla POV:

I had successfully dodged the twins up till now. No thanks to Alana, though. It was as if the she-devil was adamant about having us cross paths. I didn't understand this girl at times. On one side, in the beginning, she hated when her friends were with her brothers, and now she's like team Lyla and the twins—maybe being cooped up in the castle for so long until now had done a number on her. I chuckled at the thought but pushed it away. I had other things to worry about, such as my dwindling grades. I would rather have overdue assignments than the current C's I was harbouring in four of my seven classes. But worse was that even though I was passing the academic portion, I wasn't sure if I was passing the warrior training portion. I hardly showed up to class, and on top of that, I didn't have my wolf, which meant I was slower than the rest.
