Ara is silently sitting in front of me. Elegantly sitting while wiping the swords using her own hands and inclining it, testing the sharpness of the sword of decadence with her own hands.
I look over to my sides and silently wish I hadn’t. Alpha Nicholas and Alpha Antonio are both beside me, oblivious about what is happening. Of course, they are oblivious because they are unconscious.
“ The goddess is awake,” Ara mocked. Her tone of annoyance stained her pitchy voice with bitterness and sour feeling.
For a moment, I thought Ara is an accomplice of Apollo. I thought she will help us but then I am a fool to even believe that there is something good about her. She is easily encouraged and blinded by power. A puppet witch for masters like Alpha Gerri and Apollo.
