Chapter Forty Nine

Leon kept glancing at his wrist watch, he couldn't wait for the closing time to reach.he had never felt so happy in his life since his parents died.he was right in accepting his feelings.

As soon as the time reached for dismissal,he left his office immediately and stood at his door waiting for Ivy.it didn't take long Before Ivy came out of her office.as soon as he saw Ivy he pretended to be on a call.

Ivy was surprised to see him in the office,she thought he would have left like he usually does.she decided to stay back and wait for him to be done with his call because it was rude to Walk past him Like that.

"Good evening sir"she greeted after he put his phone in his bag.

"Where are you going?"he asked.

"Home"she replied.

"I will drive you home"he offered and Ivy hesitated.she was not used to him being kind to her.

"I thought we were friends now,"he said to her.
