*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*
---
"Are you sure that you are not gonna bring those, Maia?" I asked the woman who has been busy digging the hole where we are going to place our treasure chest, and I just went to help her out.
"Nope, it's heavy, Cray. And besides, we could just bring it all if we could get back here. I will be just bringing with me... this one." She answered and showed me the pearl bracelet on her left wrist, that I have given her when we have first found these treasures. She loves it.
"Okay, we would just get back here with a chopper, no, a helicopter, or a yacht, or a plane. Amphibious plane. We'll buy one." I replied as I stopped diggin
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---"Cray, I got a sight of an isle. Two o'clock and approximately two miles away." I let out as I have seen a small figure from afar using my monocular, and I handed it to the inquisitive man. He should see it for himself."Wow, cool! Should we go there, Maia? Won't it slow us down?" He uttered in awe and asked me, in which I went to the middle part of our sailboat to change the direction of our sail. It's our third day sailing on the ocean, and it's the first sight of land that we have come across. Also, we need more supplies."Yep, it wi
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---The droplets of the heavy rain kept making me squint my eyes and wipe my face off of the dripping water. It is our first time to encounter rain this strong, no, it's a storm, and the powerful wind has been making the waves bigger and bigger, while our boat quakes with the movement of the ocean. It is one hell of a voyage. And, hopefully, this storm will stop already. It has been almost half an hour has passed that it is striking us."Maia, are you seeing what I am seeing?" Cray asked me, in panic, while we stayed and been holding the post of our secured sail closely as possible."Holy Ship! That's... No, fuck it! Let's row our boat away, Cray!" I cursed and yelled in terror as I got the sight of the biggest wave that I have seen my whole damn life, and w
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV* --- "Son, hi! It's good to see you here! Thanks that you have visited this old man. Are you staying here for dinner? Your mom will be cooking your favorite." The man, who I always wanted to see and talk to, spoke when I have stepped inside our mansion, and he went closer to me to put me in his embrace. "Hi, Dad! Well, I was just stopping by. And, of course, maybe I would stay for dinner. Because I know that Mom wouldn't let me go back to my unit if I can't at least get a taste of her amazing dishes. Where is she anyway?" I replied dazzlingly and asked him about my mother. She would be so pleased to see me here, especially now that I got my beard shaved which seldomly happens. "Well, she's just somewhere around. Probably, in the garden. Come here, let's t
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---The sound of the wind hitting the sail is the only noise that I can hear, and it gives me this gloomy feeling inside. I just don't know what to think right now. I can't think of anything recently. I think my mind is all blank. Trauma? Maybe.Well, who would not feel such if you almost lost someone so dear to you and the only one that you have? I was scared as shit just a while ago. That was so freaking horrifying to experience. And, truth be told, I don't know what to do if he really did die. It's unthinkable. And, I would never want to experience it again. Ever.Thankfully, he seems feeling better now.Looking at his peaceful sleeping face and his chest rising up and down makes me feel happy and calm. I woul
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---A wide smile formed on my face when I have heard shaky and nervous voices on the other line."He-hello? Who's... Who are you? Who is this?" The trembling voice of my redheaded best friend, Valerie, echoed on the other line, and I guess that they are together now, which is much better. I wouldn't be saying things twice, or bother myself in making a call for three people. And, I decided to stay quiet for a moment, just to scare them a little and formulate some statements on how will I begin with my allegation."Hello? Is there anyone there? Who are you? How did you get this number that you are using? How did you get my number?" Tesla asked, and I guess she's not scared anymore."Tes, I guess they could be the ones that have searched and looked for the things that submerged deep in the ocean with the ship. Mia's phone is rugged and waterproof. Don't you think? It could be it. There i
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV* --- "Hi, I'm feeling good, Cray." The woman, who is lovelier than the night sea view before me, replied with her voice sounding somewhat sad, and I made her turn to face me while I wrap my arms around her waist. "Really? Why am I not convinced?" I asked her as I looked at her eyes that seems like she just cried, and she showed me a forced smile. Feeling sad, knowing that she might have a problem, I asked her, "Hey, what is the matter, Maia?" "Nothing. I just... Well, I uh... I just called my best friends." She answered, and I tucked some stray strands of her straight brown hair behind her left ear. And I nodded my head lightly, knowing that she has contacted someone already.
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---"Please, Mia. I'm begging you." Her sad voice echoed in my ears when I opened my eyes as I had just woken up from a dream. A sad dream. The same dream that I kept dreaming back at the island. Sabrina. Now, I really don't know what to do anymore. There are things that are certainly haunting me, and it scares me down to my bones. I never wanted to be in this situation since the beginning; to be the other woman of someone that is about to get married. Someone that has someone who is loving him so much. It hurts. Yes, it hurts to be the one to be cheated on. And, it also hurts to be the one to let go of someone that you hold dear. Maybe I really am just not lucky when it comes to romances. That's why I really am so done with this bullshit in my life. But, this persistent man, who has been hugging
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV* --- I took a very deep breath before I began reading the letter on my hold, and I only have one thing in my mind right now; I wish that it would be something good... Something romantic. A love letter. "Cray, I must have already left by the time you wake up and have read this." It began, and I already feel that I don't like where this is going, and I don't want to continue reading the rest of it. But, I want to know what are these things that she has written to me. Yet, why would she leave so early? Where would she go? And, without me? She didn't even wait for me to wake up, or even have woken me up. She could have just told me in person. Well, maybe she just went out to buy something, right? Or..

*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV* --- As I walked into the living room of the mansion, a bright smile quickly crept on my face when I got the sight of the person waiting for me. We are gonna go to work together. My new PA. Partner in All. "Mmm, nice hairstyle, Mr. Einar. Never seen you in that before. Your hairstylist seems to be really good." She remarked with a wide smile as she saw me, and I let out a soft laugh. "Yeah, I just... I just let her do what she wants. Well... It's time to make a few changes. But umm... Uh, never mind, yeah! Let's go?" I replied and asked her while walking closer to where she is, and she quickly went to walk to the door. I just want a kiss. Just one. Even just a quick one. Maybe she doesn't like my shark fin hairstyle? Hmm. It was my mother and the great Wa
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV* --- Seeing him again after a long time makes me the happiest, and I don't know where to put the joy that I feel right now. I never expected any of this at all. It's really him. It's my man. It's my Cray. Though he looked a bit different because of his long hair, he still looks the same to me. He looks great with his new hairstyle, and I never really thought that he would be growing it long as I told him to. I thought we would be the ones to surprise him the day after tomorrow, but it is us who were shocked so much because of his unannounced visit. And now, witnessing his conversation with Wayne makes me feel more than complete. It is indeed a very magnificent sight to see. I finally see the resemblance
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*---While looking at the pretty little girl who was taken by the woman who has let me in this household from the arms of the girl who I used to call mine, I felt like I was dipped in the coldest bath while I felt so warm. I can't explain what I feel. I know it has been too long since we haven't heard anything from each other, and it's not impossible for her not to find a man who she loves and loves her back. Like, literally, every man who lays eyes on her would definitely fall. Who doesn't? She is everything that is amazing. He is certainly the luckiest person on Earth.I let out a heavy breath as I leaned down to pick up the thing on the couch. The thing that was the reason why I am here and have found her, unexpectedly. This belongs to her. After I got the
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV* --- "Mum, will Andoo be okay there at the hospital for the dogs?" The curious little girl asked while settling herself in our bed, and I tucked her in. She has just finished her before-bedtime routine which is brushing her teeth, slipping in her favorite pajamas, and saying good night to her fishes at the aquarium on the left side of my study table. "Yeah, he will be fine, Wayne. I think he would love to see you there. Wanna go with me tomorrow?" I answered and asked her, which made her face lighten up. And she cheered and asked, "Yes, Mum, of course! Is he gonna go home already? I missed him so much." "Yep, he can finally go home. Also, we should go to the pet shop to buy our goldfish some food. So... You better sleep now so you can go to Andrew early.
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*---My jaw dropped in awe when the biggest creature in the whole wide world had just passed right before my eyes. It's a damn huge blue whale!"Now, that seems like a hundred times larger than our submarine, boss. Can you imagine if that thing would swallow our vehicle, sir? What do you think would happen?" Johan let out in amazement and asked me some absurd silly question."Johan, why don't you try to get closer to its mouth, then get inside it, and let's see what would happen? Hmm?" I answered him sarcastically, and he just laughed as he went to accelerate, then the idiot really did what he was told."What the fuck are you doing?" I cursed when I noticed that we were driving so close to the head of the hu
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*---The sound of every stroke of the pencil touching the paper is the only thing that I could hear, and I do love the sound of it. It's almost silent. And it's my only escape from the busy yet lonely world here in the office whenever the dismissal time comes. After sketching a few more touches of my masterpiece of the week, I let out a sigh as my gaze turned to the area where the owner of the face that I have been sketching for the last hour, used to sit and wait for any order that I will tell her. And a smile crept on my face as I remembered those times when she sits there, facing her computer, and wearing her grumpy face whenever I let her do something twice or thrice again and again just to mess up with her.Oh, Maia, when can I finally see you agai
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---A deep sigh escaped my lips as I stared at the mountains where the mighty sun is on its way to make some other places on Earth morning again. It's the ninth sunset that I am looking at all alone, and I feel so blue even if the scenery before me surely is wonderful. We used to stare and appreciate the beauty of nature together while in each others' hold. And I just missed him so much. That's it. Because whenever I can witness this view, all I think about is him. Well, honestly, it's always him who is on my mind every second and every minute that passes since the time that I left him. I just can't force my mind and heart to forget him, no matter how hard I try. And these pictures on my phone don't help at all."That's the two thousand seven hun
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV* --- "Craig. Son, that's enough. It's too early in the morning to be drinking booze. You haven't even eaten breakfast. And, I am not so sure that you did sleep last night. I believe it is gonna be okay. Give me that bottle." The woman who gave birth to me told me as she has seen me drowning my miserable self in alcohol again. I just woke up from an hour of sleep from overthinking everything that I am going through. I don't even give a fuck about my aching head from drinking lots of spirits last night. I thought I could forget her if I get too drunk to be thinking about us, yet I even cried out while looking at all our pictures on my phone like a hundred times and staying in our mini-ship right outside the lawn. And, now, I am looking at our pictures again and again. I won't get tired of it. Yes, I am
