Stay Away

Around 1 AM, I got a call from a strange number. Who calls other people this late in the night? I raised my brows as I picked up my phone with low expectations. I accepted the call and placed the phone on my ear.

"Hello, who is this please?" I inquired immediately, making sure to communicate displeasure in my tone.

"It's me." The voice I heard drove away sleep from my eyes in a few seconds. I sat up properly. "Don..Dada?"

"Hm. Step out for a bit or I jump in through your window."

My heart skipped when he said that. I looked at myself, I was just wearing a see through nightwear.

"No no no, I...will come. Where to?" I said without further thoughts.

"Meet me behind your apartment complex." He said and ended the call. I sighed. This late night? Why could I not just have a proper rest even if it was for a few hours.

I changed into pants and sweats then I left the house. It was quite easy to locate him because I had seen his car first then he was leaning on it.
