Claire's POV

“So Claire, you were saying something about receiving an email from your school” Elsye said, giving me her undivided attention

Elyse, Madam Desideria and I were in the kitchen while Madam Desideria prepared pancakes. Elyse and I didn't do much except bring her utensils and ingredients when she needed them. Not like either of us knew how to prepare pancakes so we were learning from her too.

“Where was I again?” A joke Elyse had cracked had interrupted me

“You said your school had sent you an email. You've not told us the contents of the mail yet”

“Okay, yeah. My school sent me an email, telling me to come for a diploma verification”
