Cisca jumped up first, her heart beating fast. It must be a guard, or someone that was watching them. Alden hid behind the door, while Cisca passed him a masking spray.
She opened the door to see a guard standing there looking at her like a traitor.
"Yes?" She put on her best bitch face as she watched him.
He peeped inside and saw that the room was empty.
" Is there a problem?"
She sighed in relief, as the guard walked away.
Alden came out of his hiding place. They were definitely looking for him, and they thought to come here. He didn't intend to spend the night here, but at the circumstances warranted it, he couldn't help but stay.
" Take care of yourself." He slipped out of the door, and Cisca prayed with everything in her that he didn't get caught.
