I just about heard the distant chow of freaking church bells towing in the silence that followed after Prince Charles had spoken.

I couldn't believe I hadn't thought about it! I rumbled out a bitter laugh, keeling over and letting the whips of delight shudder through my frame and feeling the officers around me shift uneasily as tears sprung from my eyes.

“Why, Charles, one would think you have been living at the McKenzie Manor for years! It’s his favorite too! That lime green covert!” I added, watching Frederick whip his head to face me out of the corner of my eye, backing into the throng of blue-uniformed officers off to the side, where the ugly detective was standing, a mask of confusion on his face.

“Shut up Xander,” Fredrick’s deep tenor blurted and I turned my head to give him a fake expression of confusion, feeling the delirium that had been eating away at my brain take full control.
