Chapter 71

SEBASTIAN'S POV.

I quickly made my way down the stairs, my wolf already sensing the danger that awaited me. As I reached the bottom step, my eyes widened in shock at the sight before me. Two warriors from my pack were fighting, their snarls echoing through the hallway.

And there, on the floor, was Hailee, with broken glasses scattered around her. I could feel my wolf taking over me, the need to protect her overwhelming me. With lightning-fast reflexes, I pounced on the rogue warriors, my teeth bared as I tore through their flesh. The sound of their bones crunching filled the air as I showed them no mercy.

As soon as the last of them fell, I turned my attention to Hailee, who was still lying on the floor, unconscious. I scooped her up into my arms, careful not to jostle her broken glasses, and brought her inside the packhouse.

I laid her gently on the bed and began removing the shards of broken glass from her body. With each one, her wounds healed quickly, but she remained unconscious.
