Chapter 67

a loud noise outside.

As I lay down on my bed, I could feel the tears stream down my face. I was so lost, so hurt, and so confused. I didn't know what to do or where to turn. I had begged the moon goddess for forgiveness, but I still felt a heavy weight on my chest.

"Please, forgive me," I whispered, my voice cracking.

I must have drifted off to sleep because the next thing I knew, I was standing in a field of wildflowers with my father. I hadn't seen him in years, not since he was killed by rogue wolves.

"Daddy," I called out, running towards him. He turned around and smiled at me, his arms outstretched. "I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too, my little princess," he said, wrapping me in a tight embrace.

"I don't know what to do," I said, tears streaming down my face. "I'm so lost and confused."

"Follow your heart," he said, placing a hand on my chest. "It will never lead you astray."
