Chapter 53

HAILEE'S POV.

Sebastian's grip on me was so tight that I struggled to breathe. I could see the anger in his eyes as he held me against the wall. "Don't you ever go down there again," he warned me through gritted teeth.

I tried to speak, but his hold was too strong. Finally, he released me, stepping back as if he had suddenly realized something. "Just leave, Hailee," he said, his voice now soft and gentle.

I stumbled out of his grasp, gasping for air. As I made my way back to my room, tears streamed down my face. I couldn't believe that Sebastian had been the one to move his parents' graves without telling anyone. How could he do something like that?

My mind was racing with questions as I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. How had my father really died? And why had Sebastian taken my sacred chain from me? I knew I had to get to the bottom of all this.

Determined, I got out of bed and headed back to the cemetery. As I dug up Sebastian's father's grave, tears streamed down my face. I co
