Chapter 76 down to business
*three weeks later*
“ Why did you lie to us?” Sitting outside the cell on a chair I questioned Aurther. Erik and my dad didn’t think it would be a good idea for me to be on the inside. My stomach is bigger now and I’m eating more than usual.
“ Why don’t you ask Erik?” He mumbled looking at him who is inside the cell with him as he spit out blood from the hits he’s gotten already
“ what?” I asked looking at him
“ nothing pup. Answer her” he growled
“ Well as I’ve already told your mate here. She needs my help. If she gets her fathers power we are all screwed. She won’t know how to control it.” He smiled showing his bloody teeth

“ you did what??” My dad yelled and screamed at Erik for hours. I should feel bad for him but I don’t. We have two kids on the way, he should have talked to me about this before spilling everything out to someone he knows I don’t trust. I put our babies at risk when I cut out the bond that he had on me. Even today when I used it to electrocute him. Yeah that’s worse than what he’s done, but he could possibly have cost all of us our lives. Not that my dad's yelling scares me, it's more of the flood of emotions I’m getting from Erik. I can tell he’s disappointed in himself but his ego is too big for him to admit that. Rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, I yawn, stretching my arms before plopping them back down onto the bed. Erik isn’t in the bed which means he’s working. *knock knock* “Come in” I yelled pushing through another yawn “ good morning, Luna Briella” doctor said opening the door with nurses behind him “ So we are doing only home visits now? I can come to you, ya know?” I grunt sitting up just enough. “ Well Alpha said you would try to get out of it so you can talk to Aurther first.” He laughed while taking a seat next to me. Damn it, well he does have a point. Shrugging I pulled my shirt up enough to show my stomach.

I walked slowly to the table taking a seat across from him. “ What? Did Mr. Right not tell you I was going to be here? Well guess everyone isn’t perfect after all.” He grinned, enjoying himself. Grandma joined behind me making him shift in his seat “ I’m sorry, does she make you uncomfortable?” I hissed watching his face twitch as he moved around unnerving in his seat. “ What's wrong with the boy?” She asked looking him up and down “ He has power that allows him to sense others' powers. He doesn't know what you are but just how powerful you are. The energy you are giving off is stronger than me. It’s making him uncomfortable and confused” I smiled now I’m enjoying his suffering “ Who are you?” She asked

This morning it took me hours to get ready. I don’t fit most of my clothes anymore because of how swollen I am. My boobs hurt and don’t get me started on my feet. The last thing I want is to tell him so I took my time getting dressed. Walking over to the door I step into my slide on shoes knowing damn well I’m not getting my sneakers on by myself I walk out of the door and head down the stairs to leave. I packed last night and Erik carried the bags out already. Breathing heavy down the stairs I see Erik standing at the front door with a smile plastered across his face.“ Why are you so happy today?” I groaned huffing out a breath“ Wow and to think I was so happy to see my beautiful wife walking down those stairs.” He mocked opening the door letting me go first.

The plane finally landed and I decided to keep what I read to myself till we got to the hotel. We still aren’t sure where Amanda is but I’m sure they have a lead on where she could be. We took a cab to the hotel which felt longer than the plane ride. Once we got there I still wasn’t allowed to help carry anything so I talked to the guy at the front desks to check us in. He was nice enough to give us a room here on the first floor since the elevator seemed to be down. Which is my luck since that happened at the last hotel we were at. Opening our hotel room I was amazed at how big it was. We got back to the hotel room. I'm surprised no one flinched seeing the big dude carrying a girl who seemed to be struggling and in need of help. Erik held on to her as Hunter grabbed the desk chair from one of the rooms and rope that I didn’t know we brought with us. With Hunter and Andrew standing by the chair he placed her in the chair. In the blink of an eye she was tied to it like a prisoner.“ We aren't going to hurt you” I said, trying to soothe the situation.“ Oh really?? Then why did your men kidnap me and tie me up like a wild animal?” She hissed yanking on her arms.“ Because we need to talk and you are obviously a flight risk.” Andrew explained placing a bottle of water to her lips as if she’s been sitting there for hours now.
