Ivan

The look on Monna’s face when I asked Reina out of the pack house was that of confusion and surprise, did she really think I would send her out instead? She had nowhere to go here in Scarlet and Crescent Moon isn't even an option, that's where they enslaved her. But why would Reina want her out of the pack house?

I decided to go see my mother.

She was in the room when I got there,

“Mother” I greeted

“ Ivan” she cooed

“Where have you been since?”

“Rowan and I went to review the warriors’ report” I answered

“Have you even had a meal” I nodded but she still asked her handmaid to prepare coffee.

She brought it in no time and we began sipping

We began discussing the pack matters when she was done lecturing me on how I shouldn’t throw my life away for the sake of revenge. Everything was normal and stable until it got to the issue of my mate.

“The elders are threatening to go on strike if you don't mark your mate soon” my mother informed me

Apparently they believed the lack of rain
