I had looked over Jake’s list of requirements about 30 times the paper was now so thin from me holding it, it was ripping in places. I wasn’t sure this was a good idea, I reasoned that he had already seen me in my underwear what was one more time.

It just felt that I was going to cross that line, a line I knew I shouldn’t cross but just seemed powerless to not. I had missed the appointment with Carter, something that filled me with dread after all this many angry and threatening messages. The last one in particular was still stressing me out.

Carter – I know what’ve done Stephanie and I can prove it, don’t toy with me.

I hadn’t replied, what exactly was there to say besides if I responded he would find out that Jake somehow knew as well as asking me to spy on him. I debated if I should message him back, I guess I’ll speak to Jake later tonight to see what he thinks I should do.
