As you may recall from Chapter 14 -An Adventure with Puppies- Vicky's adventure with the puppies at the age of one or so marked the beginning of his affinity for natural sorrundings . As he grew older, this fascination not only deepened but also had a great mark on his life.

Around the age of five, Vicky's wanderlust led him to explore the nearby woods, where he'd spend hours discovering hidden brooks and flower-filled ponds. Vicky found solace in the gentle rhythms of fishing, the soft scratch of colourful pencils on paper as he sketched, and the warm companionship of pets and hens. These quiet joys became his loving sanctuary, a world where he could escape the disapproving gaze of his mother and elder brother, who saw only frivolity in his beloved pastimes. Their scoldings fell on deaf ears, as Vicky's love for nature and adventure only intensified.
