Chapter 36: Chloe Gets Stuck

Chloe cut through the park, staying just within the trees lining the edge. She jumped or fell over a fence separating the housing development from the park and school. She walked along the hedge in the next-door neighbor's backyard and darted to the door and windows looking for a way in.
