It was at this time the golden eyed demon blew out red smoke out from his mouth. The smoke traveled towards the edge of the still lit hexagram but was obstructed, as though there was an unseen veil preventing it from moving out. This however seemed to agitate the red smoke even more. The eyes of the golden eyed man began to glow as the red smoke began to pound hard against the ‘veil’ more furiously, over and over. The flames in turn flared up even more fighting back hard to prevent the red smoke from moving out.

After a few tries, the smoke just stilled and moved back to the golden eyed demon as it just merged back into him. If you looked closer you would see his eyes no longer glowed and just the same way. The flames, after the smoke returned immediately died down as the hexagram returned to the burnt dull state.

Now properly looking around starting from the hexagram and its symbols to the blood circle connecting the wooden poles to the trinkets and ring bags hanging on said poles, his eyes lingering a little longer on them. “I have to admit I haven’t seen such a trap since that brat killed his brother back then. Tell me Mr. Anderson, how did you get your hands on such a dangerous artifact?” If at first, he was merely amused, now Anderson had managed to capture his attention.

“You still haven’t introduced yourself.”. Gathering a bit more confidence Anderson repeated once more. The situation had already escalated to this point. If not for the fact that the trap had been able to keep such a terrifying person in place he would have probably run from there. It had taken more that will power to not do so the moment he witnessed the red smoke and the trap in the fight. There was no turning back now. No, he already knew that when he saw everything was real.

Fixing his tie, the golden eyed demon put on his trademark smile once again and replied. “Right, how rude of me. Let’s see, just call me Suit, easy right? Now then Mr. Anderson, would you mind telling me why you would trap me in this manner?” Of course, he would not share his real name. According to the book, no demon would speak of their real name. It spoke of two important reasons. The first reason said that if you found that out, you would be able to banish said demon back to the depths of hell.

It was the second reason, that he was more interested in. That was one of the main reasons to which he did what he did. They said if you could find out the true name of the demon, you would be able to control the demon for all eternity. His original plan was to save his wife, but when he read that part, his mind went into overdrive. Why stop there? Why not completely own one to make sure nothing like that ever happened to them again? It was a wild ambition, yes, but he had hope. Now that he confirmed the supernatural world truly existed, he had hope, but…

Anderson stood in contemplation. The emergence of this demon named Suit had thrown a major wrench in his plans. Things were not supposed to go down the way it is now and quite frankly although he was not really showing it outwardly, on the inside he was freaking out. This demon before him looked much more powerful than what he was expecting. “I could always leave and say ‘thank you for the scrumptious meal’, but is that what you really want?” Suit spoke, almost turning around with the smile still plastered on his face.

Anderson knew very well that it was nothing but cheap bait. A large part of him kept telling him to run, to leave the place as fast as he could, but how could he. After coming so far, after sacrificing so much there was no way he could just leave. Taking in a deep breath Anderson answered “Seifuku keiyaku.” (Subjugation contract). It was just the name of it, but the contract in his hand held so many other things he did not understand. Only after crosschecking with many books and references did he finally confirm, only by a little, that it was indeed a contract to bind a demon.

“Is that so?” Placing his hands behind his back, Suit questioned Anderson with an amused expression. He looked at the duffle bag in Anderson’s hand, and then back at Anderson. Seeing Suit’s nonchalant and laidback expression he felt a bit of hope. Most higher demons were so. Their nature ever so fickle. Just as they found entertainment in the slightest, they could show their ruthlessness just as easy, and this demon before him seems to somewhat fit that bill. At least that was a good thing.

“That was the intention, but it feels like a suicide mission at this point” Trying hard to keep his mind empty, which was proving to be a rather difficult task, Anderson spoke to suit. He was trying to play to the ego of the demon before him, without showing fear.

“Smart boy. Tell you what, I’ll give you that chance but we won’t do it like how you wanted to, we’ll play a different game. Don’t worry, it will be fair…I think, but before all that…” Suit stretched open his palm towards Anderson. Anderson frowned at his words. The plans were derailing at a quick pace.

“That is not how things were supposed to go.” Anderson whispered to himself. It was almost inaudible, but suit smiled at him.

“Yeah, well I’m feeling improv. So…” He stretched out once more. His face, slowly morphing into a frown. Anderson was beginning to fear what would happen if he displeased this fickle demon too much. Although the trap had proved to do its work, he did not know what could happen. It was problematic, but he did not know enough to evade anything he did not know about. He only knew what he was well prepared for.

Anderson did not know if he should be grateful for getting the opportunity to see his wife so many times, or to be angry that he was meeting her under such circumstances. In the report in his hands was a full-grown picture of his wife, Mary. It was obviously not his actual wife, but this world’s version of her. His actual wife was lying in a coma back on his earth. Anderson shook his head. That was right. His wife was in a coma back on his earth. All that he was going through was for her. Even knowing something like this, Anderson could not help but allow a small smile to appear on his face. Anderson remembered the mission before his frown appeared again. The mission was a dangerous one. Aside from it being about the person that looked like his wife, Anderson was beginning to regret taking the mission. The Mary in the profile was one of the world’s leading figures both in the light and in the underground world. She was one of the world’s richest and most powerful. I

Anderson took cover in the control room. He was fully geared in his tactical attire with all types of guns and knives hanging on him. He looked like he was preparing for war. His entire house was made from bullet proof glass. The house was located away from town, on a remote large acre of land owned by Anderson. It was because his work was dangerous and could easily attract enemies that he secluded himself away from town. His house was surrounded by multiple cameras at all angles in order to catch any intruder that intended on sneaking up on him. With the sudden disappearance of Suit, especially the look on his face before he disappeared, Anderson was not going to take any chances. He had no idea what the demon was going to prepare for him, thus he needed to be on the alert. It was at this time that he was grateful that his home was designed in such a way. Currently, Anderson was staring intently at all the cameras, but could not find anyone or anything out of place. That, h

The angel looked at Suit and unfurled wing about the same size as her from behind her. She lifter her head proudly, puffing out her chest in the process. “I told you. Today, nothing will save you from me.” She walked confidently towards Suit and raised her large sword with both hands without difficulty. With a hard swing, she struck horizontally with all her might aiming to decapitate Suit in one quick swing. The Angel had a victorious smirk on her usually stern face. She was already seeing the head of the meat body the demon was inhabiting rolling on the floor. Her only regret was being unable to save the person much sooner. With how comfortable and in control the demon looked, there was no doubt about the number of decades, even centuries the demon had inhabited the body. Usually, that mean the soul of the human had long since died. The blade was inches away from severing the demon’s head. That was until it stopped. No matter how much the angel push

Morning came quicker than Anderson had wanted it to. The blinds to his room automatically opened at the stroke of six, adjusting itself to the perfect angle to let in the right amount of sunlight. With the amount of money this world’s Anderson had made throughout his life, he had been able to properly live a life of luxury without care. Especially since it was all legal money, he had nothing to fear or worry about. Anderson knew as well that even if it was dirty money, he would still show and spend it openly without a care.Anderson quickly pulled out a gun from under his bed and fired two quick shots. The bullets entered a chair that was in his room. The target was none other than Suit who merely sat there eating chips. He smiled, declining to comment on the continuous futile attempt of Anderson to try and shoot him, leaving him to his, as he put it, therapeutic designs. “Good morning to you too.” Suit greeted.“Don’t you have anything be

It did not take long for Anderson to wake up in the dark room again. “Eey. Look whose back. Did you miss me?” Before he could completely open his eyes, he heard a familiar hyperactive voice right beside him. Anderson slowly opened his eyes and saw Leash squatting beside him, staring down at his with a happy expression. Anderson felt the demon had spent too much time alone for him to be the way he was. Anderson lay there quietly for a while before finally siting up. He was now used to everything that was happening around him.Anderson looked around the room they were in. There was nothing else in the room except the happy looking Leash. Anderson wondered if nothing could be brought in such a place. He would have probably gone insane already if he had to stay in such a place even for one minute. Who knew just how long Leash had been in such a place, and how time flow worked there? It was no wonder the poor happy go lucky demon had already lost his mind. Anderson tur

A few minutes passed and Anderson slowly opened his eyes. His face was wet with tears and a deep frown was etched on his face. He had just lost something precious to him. Although he could not remember exactly what it was he had lost, he could feel it in his heart that he had not only lost something, but it was also something very precious to him. Anderson had no idea whether it was the mechanics of it or that was just how Suit had set it up just to torture him.“Welcome back. I must admit, you were so close to surviving there. I was actually rooting for you.” The demon’s words brought him out of his thoughts. He glared at Suit, but he only stood there with a smile on his face, completely ignoring the glare he was receiving. Anderson did not even bother with asking Suit to return what he had taken because he knew very well the demon before him would not bother to pay him any heed.Anderson sat up. He was finding a bit of difficulty in talking. He was
