Pieces of Familiarity I

When Auster uttered those words, I was immediately aware that we needed to exercise caution because the area smelled of gloom, much like there was a fog, but the fog's color was dark rather than white.

I unintentionally grasped Auster's hands hard at that moment, and before I knew it, he had drawn closer to me and was whispering some phrases I never thought I would get used to.
