Chapter 80 - Mentally Sick

Bowing her head and looking at her toes, Jade replied. "What are you going to do if I told you, I hated you with all my heart?"

Her answer was like a punch at his chest making him hard to breathe. A moment of silence spread across the room beforeTyler said, "Tell me what to do to erase your hatred."

The sound of the door latching to the door jamb told Jade that she's alone in the room.

Still feeling lethargic, Jade went back to the bed. She stared at the white ceiling, lapsing into a gloomy self -absorption and lost track of time.

"Come in," she assented and sat up.

"Mom," Jade said in a chirpy manner when Cecilia's figure emerged from outside.

"How are you? Tyler called me and asked me to look after you," Cecilia said while she drew near to Jade.
