Karica's POV

Making his smoothie was worse than a pain in the a*s. Three different kinds of berries, three varieties of seeds, three assortments of nuts, and mint. Everything needed to be mixed in the correct proportion or it wouldn't balance and I was in no mood to unleash the Hulk by messing up his smoothie.

The beads of perspiration formed on my forehead and back and I could feel them trickling down. Maybe the kitchen had gotten hotter.

"Need any assistance?" a girl who had been working alongside me finally felt pity on my condition and offered her services.

"Please, just have a look and tell me if I have measured out everything in the correct proportion?" I pleaded, offering her a sheepish smile and she timidly laughed, placing her hand on her pinkish lips.

"Hi! I am Xui Lin, you can call me Xu," she had shiny straight light brown hair and a smile that could melt hearts.

"Hello! I am Karica," I offered her my hand and she politely shook it.

"Madam Tacy told us that you are A

Xynathius's POVThe chaotic world around me suddenly quieted down once she left, her bewitching scent still lingering in the entirety of the very air I breathed in, encapsulating every cell of my body. Seductress. I thought I could resist her but this was easier said than done. And why was my crotch tightening? Now I had an unnecessary boner.Fu*king brilliant. Zilver was making the situation even worse. I almost injured her while losing control to him. If he hadn't pulled her all that mess would have landed on her and that was the last thing I wanted. All the contents of my dressing were sprawled on the carpet making me clench my jaw. Why was I so frustrated?'What the hell were you thinking? Fighting me for control in front of her and then touching her like that,' I frustratingly shouted at Zilver. 'I merely wanted to feel and smell her since you won't even touch her. She is our mate,' Zilver added with his usual smugness. 'I don't desire her and she won't ever be mine,' I stu

Karica's POVWith a thudding heart and an emotional storm brewing inside me, I ran from his room. The feelings of fear and desires he invoked in me were grappling my heart. His words stung, not that I expected anything else, but still, it hurt. The tender touch of his artistic fingers still lingered on my cheeks, the sparks he had ignited were blazing me to my core. The intensity of it wasn't letting me think straight. He would never own me, how was I going to keep living like this? I needed a way out, I would beg my father to take me along, to make him reject me. This is not how I could keep leaving. The mate bond had truly fu*ked my life and I couldn't help but imagine how my life would have been if I wasn't born a werewolf. If there was no mate bond, if I was free to choose whom to love and spend my life with. Somehow I made my way to my room and hid in the bathroom. If anyone would come looking for me, they would leave seeing I was in the bathroom. I wanted to cry my eyes out

Karica's POVThe ground under my feet seemed to have shifted for his words were like a tremor that shook my world. A gasp escaped me as my hand flew to my mouth and the tears I had been so vehemently holding back welled up and poured out. My father's cruel words and uncaring gaze had me sobbing relentlessly. I was more broken than I had ever imagined myself to end up. I knew he would be mad but disowning his eldest born in front of her mate who was already hellbent on destroying her life was heartless. "You can't be serious," Kilran shouted in frustration, he was as shocked as I was. "After what Alpha Xynathius has told me, I absolutely can. Someone who runs away with another man instead of her mate has no place in my pack or family. She brought it on herself and I am giving full reins to her mate to do as he pleases. We should be thankful he is letting her live as his maid, any other man would have killed her on the spot," he spat out, his eyes turning crimson from the surging ang

Adiyan's POVEverything was blurry, every muscle in my body ached when I gained consciousness. Still lying on the floor of the hotel room where we were supposed to spend the night. A night which was supposed to be the most magical night of our lives turned into a frightening nightmare. My lips seemed to be burning as the skin had been peeled off and the blood had coagulated on them. The scabs were forming as I tenderly touched them. I tried sitting up but a throbbing pain began in my ribs and rippled through my body and I screamed out. Some of my ribs were definitely broken. Sighs!Karica's crying face flashed in my eyes and I clenched my jaw. Her screams and pleas to those bastards rang clearly in my head now as the haze was being slowly lifted. She pleaded for my life while offering herself up, I was sure I heard something along those lines. The question was who were those thugs? And how were they so strong? The way one of them snatched me and hurled me to the opposite wall took

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   Press Conference

Karica's POVI didn't see the brooding Alpha after he passed the verdict. My family left and there was a slim chance I would ever see them again. It had been three days since I had arrived in his pack. I was carrying out my duties but he had forbidden me from visiting his room so Tacy was taking his smoothies and laundry to his room.Xu helped me with tasks while the only male helped; Taiz we had in the kitchen tried to be overfriendly, always giving me creepy vibes. I always avoided him at all costs. "I can help you carry the load and unburden," he proactively whispered, leaning closer to me as his salacious gaze eyed me up and down, trying to undress me with his gaze. I was merely carrying dishes inside from the dining hall. "I got this covered, Taiz. Focus on your work," I glared at him, giving him a shut-up call and he just chuckled before walking past me while his hand grazed my thigh and I squatted at his hand. • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   Bitter Truths

Xynathius's POVI was finally able to rein in Zilver but he kept woundedly howling in my head. This was affecting him more than I had imagined. He wanted her, not only Laila but her too and her stinging words had pushed him over the edge. Differences aside, I couldn't even dream of killing my mate. Her thought process baffled me, what kind of monster she thought I was? My bitterness was coursing through my veins like a river of pain and suffering. Especially when an hour ago Kamryn had seen the video Adiyan had posted on social media and made it public. He had been keeping an eye on the media for any such incidents and what we feared came true. And I dreaded leaving him alive for once. He was going to be a problem, I never knew he would have a spine after what I did to him but it seemed like we underestimated him.If the problem of infertility hadn't been rearing its ugly head in the supernatural world and fertile females weren't so scarce I would have rejected her and taken on Seli

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   Meeting Adiyan

Karica's POVI settled in the faraway seat from him. His imposing presence was something I wanted to avoid, even for a few hours if that was possible. My heart hurt as if someone had filled it with thorns. I was an emotional wreck, stuck with a man I had wronged because I didn't want a mate like him in the first place. Closing my eyes I let the pain wash over me. Memories of Adiyan swirled in my brain while the scent of my mate infused every inch of my body. I could hear the steady beat of his heart even when he was sitting a few seats away from me and was busy on a call, giving instructions. A memory suddenly hit me. It was two years ago and although I had been living with Adiyan and Hasrim's family for a year now, I avoided him. My brother met Hasrim years ago when he went to a summer camp in the East Continent. The apple pendant rested peacefully around her neck. Karica sat on the fresh grass and happily watched her four-year-old daughter play in the small meadow that used to belong to the witches of Black Forest. Most of them were buried nearby after Vildus’s attack had killed them. Including two of her mentors, Gwardia and Arasia. The efforts of reconciliation had failed between her and Xynathius and she had moved here two years ago. • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   Her Truths

Karica’s POVReturning to my former pack and going on a limb to talk to the man I thought was my father all my life, was not easy. With my state of mind, I just wanted to get this over with and he needed to hear me out. Kaina was overjoyed to see me and so was Selia. We hugged and sat down to talk. “We were so worried about you. It was a relief when news of your return arrived.” Kaina held me close and I sat with my head resting on her shoulder. Selia was holding my other hand. “Yes, indeed. And Kilran told me about Adiyan. I am sorry your friend is gone,” Selia sympathetically said not knowing he meant so much more to me and I was no more afraid of talking aloud about him. “He was also my mate. I am a part witch and so was he. Adiyan was the best thing to happen to me and I lost him because I didn't value him enough.” I spoke my truth and both girls were a bit taken aback. Two mates were unheard of and I didn't want to burden them with the likes of Vildus. He was no mate to me.

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   Lingering Scent In His Room

Karica’s POVHow I made it from the cemetery to his home was all blurry. Xynathius held me all along but he didn't say much and if he did, I didn't remember. His family was kind enough to let me go to his room. I slowly opened the door and lingering whiffs of his scent blanketed me. I paused, closed my eyes and got hold of my emotions. Flicking on the light switch, I let my eyes roam his sanctuary for one last time. Everything was immaculately laid out, neat and in its place. His bed, where we had cuddled so many times. His gaming area, where we had endlessly played video games. His closet filled with his clothes, ones he would never get a chance to wear again. I traced my fingertips on everything he had owned while heavily sighing. The empty feeling in my chest grew. The echoes of his laughter still persisted from the moments when he used to tickle me. All that was just reduced to his loving memories. Stepping closer to his bed, and there between his pillows, I found the wolfie st

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   They Buried My Heart

Karica’s POVXynathius’s words were like gasoline on my already raging self. The loss of Adiyan had torn my heart into so many pieces that I couldn't put them back together anymore. Every breath was torture for I was reminded of him. I had no clue how to cope with such stifling emotions. Barely holding on and now this revelation further shattered me. Adiyan had felt me, he had reached out to me but Xynathius never even gave me an option to choose. He knew I would choose him. I silently shook my head at Xynathius so disappointed. He had not only taken my free will he even snubbed my rights to choose my mate. His presence and scent which should soothe me in such a moment was nothing but torture. “Because I am selfish when it comes down to you. I wanted you all by myself. It was wrong, I admit it but I was desperate. Sharing you was something I could never do.” His words blazed me and I flipped. All the pent-up anger inside me emerged like a poisonous snake and bit him. “It was not y

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   The Distrust

Xynathius’s POVVildus was gone from our lives as well as our world but so was Adiyan. The prophecy was completed and fulfilled, leaving my mate broken. She wouldn't let go of Adiyan’s body, she wouldn't hear me, Laila or Zilver. Everyone had been shut out as she mourned the loss of her mate. I touched her shoulder letting her know I was there for her but she just sat there dazedly, staring blankly at his face. The guilt dug its tentacles deep into my heart. Adiyan was a better man than me in every aspect and he would have made an exceptional mate to her. Karica was right about him when she first met me. And yet he was gone and I was partially responsible. The guilt will never fade. I owed my life to him, he died protecting us and this was a kind of debt which couldn't be repaid. She bent down and kissed his lips and then his forehead. Her lips stayed there in a final goodbye as she hugged him to her chest, a scream and a tremorous wave of energy burst through her and hit us all

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   The Prophecy Is Fulfilled

Karica’s POVThe most horrendous scream escaped me as my body jerked forward, the whole world blurring around me. All I could hear and focus on was Adiyan’s slowly beating heart. He was still alive but for how long?My own seemed to have been crushed under a boulder and there was only one thought on my mind. I had to save my mate. I slowly watched Vildus reaching out to him, the time seemed to be progressing at a snail’s pace for me. Vildus was about to slit his throat. “Noooo,” I cried out in desperation as a surge of spiked air with frozen thunderbolts shot out and were hurled in Vildus’s direction. His hollowed-out laugh erupted and clung to my sides as he disintegrated into bats and tried to fly away again. “No, you won't,” I screamed out with all the disgust and rage I carried. Halting, I converged my hands together, the blackened energy I carried inside rushed out in gigantic swirls and wrapped themselves around Vildus’s bats like writhing snakes. This was my piled-up hate f

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   The Sneak Attack

Karica’s POVAdiyan’s words took away my ability to form words. The blood in my veins stood frozen at his revelation. ‘Mate?’ We were also mates, but how? I was already mated to Xynathius. How could I have two mates? Or if I was to believe Vildus’s claims. Three. It didn't make sense but it never did when it came down to me. Two years ago hybrids didn't exist as well and here I was. No, cross that out. I was a tribrid with a vampire gene in me as was revealed yesterday. Both of us shared the element fire and among witches, having the same basic element raised one’s chances of ending up as mates. Now it was becoming abundantly clear. The attraction I felt for Adiyan. Why I never forgot him even after finding Xynathius. How a part of my heart seemed to have been crushed the day I left Adiyan. Why I thought of him when I was wrongly accused and imprisoned. He was mine too and I was his. And here he was to prove it. I had so many questions to ask him but circumstances were not favou

  • Stolen By My Lycan Mate   Meeting Of The Three Mates

Xynathius’s POVThe continuous blasting of spells by our witches resulted in burning away the cloaking spell and the dismal-looking castle came into full view. Howls of victory went around as witches cheered. Adiyan seemed proud of himself as I saw him running towards the castle. He was going for Karica. As much as I wanted to, I needed to hold the ground here and lead everyone. We fought the hellhounds keeping them away from the witches when Vildus released his army. It had mind-controlled humans which were nothing short of zombies. Their eyes were dazed as they slowly walked towards us. ‘Don’t kill the humans,’ I mind-linked my group as we tore apart the hellhounds. Witches and vampires followed the humans but their number was not too big. I saw Xui Lin taking charge and Aegir growled beside me. ‘She is mine,’ his angry voice floated through the mind-link. ‘Bring her down, but be careful,’ I advised while dodging a spell from one of the witches. Aegis leapt towards her while sh

Hearing that the man who turned out to be my biological father actually tried to help me.When Vildus wrenched his heart out, it hurt. It made me wonder how different the situation would be if we didn't live in a dystopian society but an ideal one. I would have a loving father and so much suffering could be avoided. But that was not the reality, this was where I tearily watched my biological father lying dead in his pool of blood. Vildus grabbed my arm and steadied me. “Let’s go, we need to leave, this place is no longer safe.” His eyes flashed with anger but before he could take me anywhere, the whole castle shook as if something like a cannonball had hit the castle walls. “Damn witches! They are here” Vildus growled in annoyance. When Xui Lin came running, her face aghast and her horrible hair flying in all directions. “We are under attack, they found us and are trying to bring down t
