Meredith smiled in relief before getting up and leaving the kindergarten.

Josiah immediately furrowed his brows. He turned to her and said, "It was alright until you mentioned it. Once you've mentioned it, my injuries start to hurt again."

Meredith looked at his bandaged head and asked, "What did the doctor say? You should be out of danger already, right?"

"The doctor said that there is a blood clot inside. If I can't absorb it on my own, I'll have to take it out with surgery."
