"I understand," Quinley added urgently, "I've always kept what you said in mind, to not go near Meredith and bring up the past. If it wasn't to help Maeve, I wouldn't have gone near Meredith.

"Mister Josiah, please believe me and forgive me this time."

Josiah did not want to listen to her anymore and ended the call abruptly.

Quinley called out for him but she could no longer hear Josiah at the end of the other call.

She was worried that Josiah would treat her like how he treated Maeve.

Quinley stayed in the car for a moment before getting the car started.
