I finish the call with Dave and stand in the silence of the house. Why would Grayson call Dave and not me? That part alone has me questioning his intentions. Yet, I am alone. Emmett mentioned his mum being hurt before leaving. So the stories do match. I just don't understand why Grayson would call Dave. If less as Dave said, it was to tell him to stay here so I wasn't alone.

I can't not go. Right now I am alone, and a target. Getting on the bike I ride to the offices. Stopping outside I relax when I see the brother's bikes.

So they are here. Standing, I look around. The place is quiet, surely if their mum was hurt there would be more cars here? Hitting, the messages on my phone I send one out. I can't just walk in there and hope for the best. If nothing is wrong, sure it's a wasted trip, but I can't walk in and not make people aware.
