"So, why is my heart broke?" -Lana Del Rey Amber's P.O.V I remain in Jack's hold, crying within his arms for what felt like forever as we sit silently against each other, allowing nothing to be heard other than the music playing in the background. Jack rubs a soothing hand against my back in efforts to get me to calm my emotions, and in some sick way I'm somehow able to find a sense of comfort in it. "Are you okay?" Jack asks as he slightly pulls away from me, looking me directly in the eyes as he uses his thumbs to wipe away my fallen tears. I avoid making eye contact with Jack, choosing to focus my attention on my sweaty palms instead as I timidly shake my head no to answer his question. "I'm sorry baby, I love you. I don't want you to feel like this. Do you want to leave?" He asks, having me nod my head immediately in response. "Okay, I'll get us an Uber right now."

Amber's P.O.V I sit in a cradled position against Jack's tub, allowing the water to flow freely down onto me as my mind begins to take me back to tonight's events. Everything that Jack has done and said to me tonight proves to me that he is unstable. It's almost as if he's incapable of comprehending or understanding the emotions of others. It's all about what he wants or what he sees fit He said it himself "he didn't think he was capable of actually caring for anyone other than himself" and it's true. He doesn't care, and maybe it's not his fault, maybe there's some type of chemical imbalance in his brain that prevents him from being able to. Amber's P.O.V I'm awoken from my sleep as the feeling of someone's lips against the skin of my neck causes me to become alert. My eyes shoot open, only to be met with Jack as he leans his entire body over mine. "You're awake!" Jack says in satisfaction as he smiles down at me. I awkwardly smile back up at him in response as I cautiously sit my body upright. "Are you hungry? I made you some breakfast." He asks enthusiastically. I hesitantly nod my head at him in response, allowing him to grab onto my hand before bringing me with him into the living room. The smell of freshly cooked food fills the open air, causing my stomach to growl as I take in the aroma. I sit myself down at one of the barstools in the kitchen, watching Jack as he makes my plate for me. Amber's P.O.V I look over at Violet, watching as she begins to bring herself over to the living room area.Since it's just us now, maybe I can find out more about the type of "business" that Jack had to go handle. A small breath of air escapes my lips as I force myself to go over to where Violet was now standing. I watch as she stretches her body into a relaxing position on the couch before changing the show that Jack was previously watching. I bring myself over to the chair stationed next to her before taking a seat and focusing my attention on the big screen. Amber's P.O.V Anxiety strikes my body as my eyes immediately fixate upon the large assault rifle sitting on top of a metal chest beside Zac's bed. I furrow my eyebrows together in fear as I can only imagine what other type of horrible things could be filling up his chest.Why the fuck would anyone need a gun this big?And who just leaves something like this laying out? My eyes begin to frantically scan the room, stopping as I notice a series of surveillance footage being displayed across three of his computer screens. Slowly, I walk further into the room, having my curiosity for what was being filmed take over me. Amber's P.O.V The vision of Violets almost lifeless body continues to play in my head as I can't help but dwell upon everything that I just witnessed. I should've never went inside of Zac's room. I wish they never would've left me here alone with her, because then maybe I wouldn't have been put in that situation. My eyes close shut, forcing more tears to fall as I continue to let my emotions get the best of me. I don't understand anything that I saw on those security cameras either. What were in those boxes? Amber's P.O.V I bring myself away from the front door before slowly going over to Zac's bedroom area. I stand in front of the wooden door for several moments, just staring out at the painted wood as I try to find the confidence to go back into the space. My eyes slowly close shut and my breathing starts to hitch as I begin to prepare myself for what I may see or what may happen to me if I were to get caught. Everything is going to be okay, Jack left and Zac won't be back here for a while. Slowly, I wrap my hand around the silver door knob before taking a deep breath and pulling down on the handle. But the moment that I do I'm met with some sort of resistance, preventing me from gaining access to the space. Fuck, is his door always locked?! I throw my head back in annoyance as I allow a low groan to escape my lips. My hands pull onto the door handle a few more times before eventually relenting as I accept my fate. There has to be a key around here somewhere.
