Harsh reality

"You've been playing for a lot of time!" Alex appeared out of nowhere, frightening David. "The doctor recommends starting returning to reality now and then to let your body heal up properly, do you want to get up now?" He asked innocently, sitting on his little cloud.

"Yes...I want to get out to get some fresh air for a bit, but next time try to be less subtle with your approach." He said, standing up from his chair and sighing. "I'll relay some orders and log out, then."

"Understood!" The boy disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving David all alone again.

"Okay, let's settle this, then."

Andrew reached the hospital when the message reached him. He was wearing a simple white shirt and a pair of black jeans. His hair was still a bit messy and wet and forgot to shave his beard in his hurry. He sat on one of the chairs of one of the VR rooms a couple of minutes later.
