The smell of the Blue Mountain coffee lingered in the air.

“Yeah, I’m back.”

“Come here, sit.”

Taking a deep breath in, Estelle walked toward the kitchen and sat opposite Sir.

“Do you want a cup of coffee?”

Estelle shook her head. “It’s okay. I can’t take hot beverages.”

The man let out a light chuckle. “Now aren’t you a weird one. I’ve only heard people not drinking cold drinks. How is it that you’re not able to consume hot beverages?”

Estelle was silent.

She was not able to enjoy hot beverages ever since she was diagnosed with lunch cancer. Even after the surgery, she was not able to do so as hot beverages caused her piercing pain.

Plus she was low on her supply of painkillers and she needed to save them for later use.

‘Sir...about the Sloan family…”

“Yes?”

Letting out a sigh, Estelle continued. “The Sloan corporate’s huge, almost as huge as the Sanders Group back then. For a company that big to be facing an issue in the capital chain, they may need a hefty amount of mo
