Third Person's POV
“I knew you would come back,” Daisy said cheerfully.
“You did?” Ved asked cupping her cheeks.
She pulled back from him and went back towards the door to close it.
Ved chuckled at that.
He walked towards her and pulled her by her waist placing his lips on hers.
He kissed her passionately devouring the sweetness of her mouth. Just by a kiss, all his tiredness went away from his mind. He felt fresh like he has taken a few hours of rest...
He pulled back and told her, “I have something for you”.
Daisy looked at him with a confused expression and when Ved opened a red velvet jewelry box. She was stunned.
“I…I cannot t..take it,” Daisy said tears forming in her eyes.
She knew it must be costly.
“You don’t like it?” Ved asked.
He was worried she might not like the design so she’s not accepting it.
“It is beautiful but we cannot take any gift from a customer.” She said sadness filled in her voice, tears streaming down her face.
“No one will dare say a thing to you please take it,” Ved told her softly and wiped her tears.
“I can’t, I am not worth it,” Daisy said looking down at her feet.
But Ved was stubborn, he took her wrist and put on the bangle on her hand.
“Take it for me,” He said and Daisy nodded nervously.
She was staring at it with a smile.
“This is the first gift anyone has ever given me,” She said smiling at him.
Ved just pulled her in his arms. If only she knew he wanted to give her much more. She’s just so innocent to bear all this.
He decided he will take her away from here to a safer place, where she will live a happy life, maybe with him.
He knew these thoughts are wrong. He must not fall in love with a prostitu*e but he wasn’t able to control himself.
After a very long time, he has such strong feelings for someone and he couldn’t let them go.
They got interrupted by a call and Ved pulled back from her to answer it.
“Master, I am sorry to disturb but there is an emergency. The files for expansion of Delhi’s tender have been stolen” Mr. Verma told Ved.
Listening to Mr. Verma’s words, Ved became furious. He cut the call and placed a kiss on Daisy’s lips.
“I have to go right now but I will be back” He promised her and rushed out of the room.
He was in hurry but when he saw Salma, he walked towards her.
“No one’s touching her” He ordered her to which Salma nodded and he left the place.
He got back to Mr. Verma and they rushed towards the office. It seems like someone stole the documents to delay the expansion.
Ved was working hard on this project and it would have given his company a lot more exposure in exports. They traced the CCTV footage but no information was found.
“Get my jet, I would be leaving for Delhi to buy us some more time. Make sure you prepare the reports again” Ved commanded to the directors and left for Delhi.
Daisy was disappointed that Ved left so soon but she knew it must be something important.
She was staring at the bracelet when someone knocked on her door.
“Some’s Lucky” Meera winked at Daisy and entered her room closing the door.
Meera has been with Daisy since she was a child. She was the only person who cared about her in this place. Others saw her as a competitor but only if they knew she is not willing to become one.
Daisy was five years younger than Meera so Meera used to take care of her in every possible way. They even used to share food when the other person was punished and not given any food. She was a blessing for her.
Meera sat beside Daisy and pulled her hand to see an expensive bracelet on her hand.
“Wow, this must be expensive!” Meera exclaimed and Daisy sighed saying, “More than I deserve...”
“You deserve much more Daisy. But make sure Salma doesn’t get to know about it or else you will be in a big trouble” Meera warned Daisy and she nodded.
“He has told Salma that there will be no other visitors for you,” Meera told Daisy excitedly.
“Is that the reason I have not got a single customer since I met him?” Daisy was shocked by the revelation. Meera nodded and hugged her.
They were interrupted by a knock on the door.
“Daisy, Salma wants to see you”
.....
It has been a week since Ved has seen Daisy and it was killing him.
He knew he has just met her and it was not rational to have such a longing for a prostitu*e but he couldn’t help his feelings.
He was returning from Delhi today and the thought of embracing Daisy in his arms was making him feel better.
He was constantly thinking about her when he was in Delhi and desperately wanted to come back to her but his responsibilities forbid him from doing so. When the jet landed he came out with Mr. Verma and sat in the black Volvo.
He asked the driver to take them to Red Cross street where Daisy lived.
Mr. Verma was shocked that even after so many days his master was thinking about the same prostitu*e. He gathered some courage and asked Ved, “Master you must be tired, please rest today...”
Ved just glared at him which was enough for him to know nothing’s stopping him to meet Daisy.
Ved was never the kind of person who would run after a woman but he did not care about anything right now.
They reached their destination and Ved asked Mr. Verma to tackle Salma and rushed towards Daisy’s room.
“Wait don’t go,” Salma shouted but it was too late, Ved was on the first floor now entering her room.
The door was open and Ved could see Daisy lying on her bed wrapped up in a comforter.
He walked towards her slowly not willing to wake her up.
These few steps felt too long as he wanted to look at her beautiful innocent face. He wanted to kiss those lovely plump lips, he wanted her to hug her, see her smile at him, and kiss her right now.
He reached towards her bed but her face was covered with the cloth.
He kneeled down and pulled the cloth from her face to see dried tears on her eyes and blood coming out of her lips...
Third person's POVVed was shocked for a moment to see her this way.Daisy sensed someone and opened her eyes.It was like a dream for her to see him again. She thought he would not come back but here he was staring back at her with concern filled eyes. She g
Third Person's POVIn the morning Daisy woke up by a knock on the door. She got up to see a lady standing at the entrance of the room smiling at her.“Good morning Maam, I am here to wake you up,” The maid said and Daisy was stunned by her.Was she giving her respect? That’s not very common for her.
Third Person's POVDaisy came out and Tanya along with Mr. Verma was waiting for her. She looked around but Ved was nowhere near. She wanted to show him her new outfit but shrugged the thought off thinking he must be busy. They sat in the Black SUV and drove towards the hospital. The whole ride, Daisy was silent.
Daisy's POVI woke up around 8 in the morning and went to the washroom to do my morning business.I knew Tanya would be here soon so I quickly pulled out a floral black dress and some lingerie and went to the washroom again to take shower.I got ready and looked at myself in the mirror. I was looking completely different, feeling completely different.
Mayra's POVWe went into a restaurant and the manager came rushing towards us. I took a step back nervously but Ved grabbed my waist to calm me down. I get scared of people a lot, especially men.We sat in a private booth and Ved ordered something fancy. Well, I have never eaten that so I hope it's good.“What do you like to eat?” He asked snapping me from my thoughts.
Mayra's POVNext-Day…I woke up with sunlight pouring at my face and bird’s voices were all over the place.I got up and saw its still time for breakfast so I took my time and slowly got ready. I came out of my room and saw Mr. Verma sitting on the Sofa who stood up watching me.
Mayra's POVIts been almost a week since I came here. I am learning something new every single day and I feel more confident about myself.Ved’s been amazing with me, he cares for me and makes sure I have everything I need.I got to know he belongs to a royal family so that justifies his nobility and behavior.
Third Person's POVBharti walked towards Mayra’s room and saw her engaged in her books. She knocked and her eyes met Mayra’s making both of them smile.“Ma’am, what can I do for you?” Mayra asked walking towards her.“Just Bharti” Bharti smiled saying it. She seemed to like Mayra now even after knowing about her.
Five Years Later..."Where is Mayra?""The Bride has run away!""Where's my daughter Mr. Bhatt?" Bharti yelled at Mr. Bhatt who glanced toward Ved, who in return, just chuckled."Mayra is missing?" Roy asked stepping up on the reception stage where Ved was sitting peacefully with Jay, having a glass of champagne."Yes my child! She is nowhere to be found..." Bharti turned towards Roy anxiously.Roy has been a big part of Mayra's life these five years. He accepted the fact that she is not ready to be his Kiyaa and her happiness resides with Ved. Through this period of time, they all worked together, chilled together, and even fought together.Mayra made sure that Roy stopped every illegal business he had but made sure that he didn't lose his power. Roy helped not only Mayra but Ved and Jay too so that they could grow with her. By giving them the power he promised, he realized that breaking that big wall he made to surround himself was actually a good idea."I will look for her..." Roy
"What do you mean by that?" Mr. Bhatt asked but Roy ignored him totally."Your parents were killed by your neighbor and he was the one who sold you to a prostitute house... Just because he didn't like the way you guys treated me." Roy mumbled in a low voice trying to hide the pain he was feeling, remembering the day.Mayra closed her eyes and tried to remember like a memory her mind was hiding behind played in front of her.*****"Babaaa...." The little girl cried as the goons pierced her father's head with a bullet."Nooooooooo..." Her mother cried but she was not aware of what was happening so she rushed towards the body of her father and wiped the blood dripping out of his forehead with her little frock."Babaa, I will heal you..." The little girl told as the goons laughed.Mercilessly, they pulled the trigger again and killed her mother too as Kiyaa turned to her side to see her mother's body, laying on the ground lifeless."Maaa... Aami asachi..." The girl cried rushing to her mo
"Would they accept me Ved?" Mayra asked sitting in the car beside Ved as she looked out the window.Roy didn't just ask them to come to any place but to Kolkata, his city and this made Ved even more suspicious. He was ready for the worst, taking precautions every step of the way but Mayra was relaxed. She didn't have even a single doubt about Roy's words. If he said that he knew about her family, he would make her meet them for sure. She was just wondering who they would be, what they must be doing in their lives, and will they accept their lost daughter.Another thought came to her mind what if they intentionally threw her out of their lives and didn't want her yet? What would she do then?"Why wouldn't they Mayra?" Ved asked tucking a piece of hair behind her eyes as a smile made its way on his face looking at her smiling."I am scared Ved..." Mayra told and hugged Ved, trying to feel okay. She was having all sought of questions in her mind that she wanted to ask her parents and al
"What the hell is happening here?" Ved roared as mayra came to her senses. She pulled away from Roy and glanced towards Ved who was furiously looking at them from the distance.Mayra then moved her gaze from Ved to Roy and saw tears filling his eyes as he ignored everyone but just stared back at Mayra.Ved's rage was at its peak but he was still holding on for an explanation from Mayra. He knew that Roy had something in his mind for Mayra but looking at her hugging him back, he felt betrayed."Ved...I..." Mayra started but was cut off by Roy."I am here to take you Mayra..." Roy said as Ved's anger surpassed his senses. He marched towards Roy and pushed him away from Mayra. Roy didn't even move his gaze from Mayra but in turn, he pushed him away and stood in front of Mayra again."Mayra, I will help you to find out who you are..." Roy said as Mayra froze. She wanted to know that too but could she really believe in Roy's words? Is this true or he is bluffing like before? But the tears
Ved walked down the stairs and glanced towards the dining to see Bharti and Jay but not Mayra. His heart instantly started pounding when he moved his gaze around but couldn't locate her.'She said she will be waiting...' Ved thought."She will be okay Bharti... We will make sure of it..." Jay mumbled to Bharti who was worrying for her daughter.Mayra looked fine to them but the heart of a mother knew that she was pretending. Although she did a great job acting okay but still Bharti missed the spark in her eyes."Where's Mayra?" Ved asked Jay who gestured towards the entrance. Before Jay could say anything, Ved rushed towards the door to see her but couldn't locate Mayra. He then moved his eyes from the sitting area of the swimming pool to the garden when he saw Roy touching Mayra's chin.Rage started building up in his head as he darted at them furiously.'What are you doing Ved? She needs space!' Ved thought and tried to calm himself but what he saw next angered him even more. Roy t
Ved opened his eyes as the first ray of sunlight fell on his face. He moved his gaze to his hand but there was no trace of Mayra at all."Mayra?" He called but no voice came out of his mouth. He looked around the room to find himself in his own room and hurriedly, he got up and checked around but there was no trace of Mayra. He searched for her things in the cupboard but it was still not there. Even the collage she made for him on his birthday was no longer hanging on the wall. The room looked like she never was here, like she never existed."Mayra..." He yelled but still nothing. It was like he just lost his voice. He then rushed out into his mansion and checked her room to find out that it was just as pale as his room. He was searching for her things from one place to another but it was nowhere near. The cradle he bought for their unborn was also missing along with the traces of any girl in the mansion."Mayraaaaa" He yelled with all he had and this time he could listen to his voice
"How are you feeling?" Jay asked stepping inside Mayra's room. After Mayra went back to her room, Roy walked away without saying a word to anyone and the policemen that came with him took care of everything. Ved was waiting patiently for Mayra to step out but she refused. She wanted to spend some time alone, away from everyone."You all should ask Ved about this. He is the one who lost the most today..." Mayra responded sitting up as Jay sat beside her on the bed."He is fine... You are not..." Jay said."I am fine too..." Mayra replied but Jay chuckled."Seriously Mayra, are we going to play this game now?" Jay asked tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear."How can I be okay Jay? I lost everything..." Mayra responded."You lost nothing Mayra. Everything's still the same..." Jay told but Mayra swayed her head and laid on her back."It looks like it is still the same but it's not. I don't even know how will I face the world when I cannot face myself..." Mayra said as she looked at
"Mayra?" Ved mumbled walking inside her room.He looked around but couldn't find her so he stepped towards the balcony as he knew she would be there like always, clearing her mind.As soon as he entered the balcony, he saw her leaning on the glass boundary with her head held low. He stood there, waiting for her to look up or notice his presence but a few seconds passed by and she didn't even turn her head back up. Mayra was reliving everything she went through in her life. The good, the bad, and the worst. She wanted to know where her steps were wrong, when she burned the lucky page of her life one by one.She wanted to feel it all at once so that it could stop. The pain she was having in her heart could stop. She wanted to accept it and move on, she wanted to smile again but it looked like there was no reason for her to smile.Moving from one phase to another, she just kept looking for something. A memory of who she really was. She tried a lot but she couldn't shake the feeling of
"Roy?" Mayra mumbled as he stepped inside staring at her face.He was back to his normal self. His posture was full of confidence, his hair gelled back into a ponytail, his body slim suit with many layers of chains, and his usual powerful aura.He ignored every eye staring at him but just rushed towards Mayra, not caring about the death stares he was getting."Mayra..." He mumbled as he stood in front of her, ignoring Ved who was holding her hand protectively.Roy hugged Mayra without wasting another second and Mayra let him. She even pulled her hand away from Ved and crossed them at his waist, hugging him tightly. She didn't know why but the feeling of being safe from any harm was still there in his embrace. He was the one who betrayed her and was the reason she almost got killed but still, she felt protected.Ved's veins popped out of his head when he saw their connection. He was raging but he controlled himself for Mayra's sake. She has been through enough already and she might nee
