Chapter 165: Fishy

When I saw the bride, I prepared myself for what I could feel.

I don’t want to imply my feelings on the bride’s special day.

“Cousin?”

I asked if I heard correctly after Isabelle introduced me to the bride.

“Yes,” there was doubt in Isabelle’s voice. “This is Alex’s cousin.”

I giggled as Isabelle said that again.

My heart seemed to explode with that shiver. Wow! What am I thinking?

“Alex’s cousin?” I repeat.

Isabelle’s introduction did not sink into my brain.

“Yes. I’m sorry if I didn’t tell you sooner.”

Suddenly I felt myself smile widely, which surprised the two.

I cough in a fake manner to somehow ease the wide smile on my lips. “It’s fine. No worries at all. No problem.” I approached the bride and held both of her hands. “I will make you the most beautiful of all today. I will make your beauty dominate all the beauty that you have.”
