“It will once we figure it out,” Alexander said as he picked up a pillow to examine it. Then he placed it down. “Come on, let’s go.”

Since Rhea was no longer there, he did not bother locking the door. When he and Austin returned to the main house, Mike asked, “Is Rhea really gone?”

Austin nodded. “Yeah.”

“But how? Did someone come to rescue her? Was it people from the organization?” Mike looked confused.

Austin shook his head. “No idea.”

It was strange that no one knew what happened. Meanwhile, Alexander remained quiet with a frown. He considered what he saw in the outhouse and felt something was off. Still, he could not pinpoint it.

Mike thought of something and murmured, “No way! That’s not possible!”

He clicked his tongue, looking conflicted.

“What’s wrong?” Austin nudged him, asking curiously.

“Oh, I just remembered something, but it’s absurd and improbable,” Mike chuckled, shaking his head.

“What’s so absurd? Tell us,” Austin was intrigued.

This novel is crazy, so out there, makes no sense started off good and then you got stuck on the virus bs, really hard to read when will it end
