Daniel had not set foot in Dominic’s vast house for years. Now trembling on his crutches, Daniel slowly walked in with the support of his son and daughter-in-law. He did not sit down. Instead, he slowly looked around until he heard footsteps and saw Dominic walking out.

Daniel immediately felt his eyes burning as he hurried forward to meet Dominic, wanting to hold his hand. "Dom!"
