Chapter 3: Competition.

The next morning I was asleep in my room.  There was a knock on my door. I didn't hear a sound.

After a while, there was a loud knock that opened my eye.

I lay on the bed for a while after hearing the voice. Then I slowly got up and asked, "Who's out there?"

The waiter's voice came from outside, "Sir Harry, there's an envelope for you.

I was fast asleep.  I woke up and went to open the door and hurried back to bed.

The waiter came in with the envelope and said, "Sir, this is for you."

I was asleep. I told the waiter, "Put this envelope on the table." And come and get a tip later.

Olivia was on the drive with Jack until late at night. It was late at night.  Then she went to Jack's house with him.

Olivia received a call from an unknown number in the morning. She ignored the call and went to the wardrobe to get ready.

When Olivia got ready and came back out.  She had a very missed call on her phone. She picked up her phone and looked at the number in surprise.

Olivia got another call from that number. She picked up the call and said, "Who's there? I am sorry, I was busy, I didn't see your call”.

“ Sorry Mam for disturbing you, I am Aria Zoey”.

Olivia said in surprise "Yes, but I don't know you”.

“I am Aria. Manager of Charles Ryan”.

Olivia didn't know about Charles Ryan.  She kept wondering who Charles was.

Aria asked Olivia, "Are you Harry Adkins' manager?"

Olivia replied to Aria, "Yes, I am."

Aria told Olivia, "Harry Adkins told Charles Ryan to contact you about the business deal”.

Olivia said to Aria, “I don't know about that. I'll talk to Harry Sir and then I'll contact you. "

Arya said, "All right, Miss Olivia, I'll wait. Take care Bye”.

Saying this, Aria hung up.  And Olivia thought Harry didn't tell me about it.

At that, Jack knocked on Olivia's door and said, "Olivia, should I come in?"

Olivia said happily, "Yes, my friends come”.

Jack came into Olivia's room and looked at Olivia and said, “You’re never ready on time. Why do girls spend much time getting ready?”

Olivia threw a cushion at Jack and said, “I have been ready for a long time.  There was a business call and I answered the call.  That's why I'm late”.

Jack said thoughtfully, "Business call”.

Olivia replied, "Yes, Jack, it was a business call. Is a designing company based in London. Charles Ryan is the owner.  There was a call from his manager.  They want to do business with us”.

Jack said happily, "That's good, Olivia”.

Olivia said to Jack, "Yes, Jack, that's good."  But his manager said he had already talked to Harry about the deal.  And Harry didn't talk to me about the deal”.

Jack replied, "Yes, Olivia, Harry always consults with both of us. But this time he didn't tell me either."

Olivia said to Jack, "Jack, what's your plan now?"

Jack replied, "Let's go to Harry. We'll have breakfast there."

Then Olivia picked up her phone and bag and walked out of the room.

Jack said to Olivia, "Wait outside. I'll get the car keys and then we'll go."

Bella and Ella were having breakfast in their room.

Ella said to Bella, "Bella, you have breakfast first. Then check out the rest of the design."

Bella replied, "Just two minutes, Ella. My design is almost complete".

Then Bella got up and took a file and put her design in the file and sat down next to Ella.

Bella said to Ella, "Ella, I wish we both had a famous design and a good chance".

Ella replied, "Bella, don't get so tense. You're a talented girl and I'm sure some company will like your design". 

Ella gave Bella a glass of juice and said, "Bella, drink this juice and then have a quick breakfast".

Ella and Bella had breakfast.  And Ella said to Bella, "We're free today, so why don't we just hang out".

Bella replied, "Yes, Ella, I’m getting

bored in the hotel".

Ella said this and went outside to the gallery of the room and sat down.  And Bella was looking at the design.

Suddenly Ella got a call from her father.

Ella picked up the call and said, "Hello Dad! How are you?"

Her father replied, "I'm fine. What’s about you?"

Ella replied, "I'm fine Dad”.

Her father said, "I have something to say".

Ella replied, "Yes, I'm listening, Dad."

Ella's father said, "The hotel where you and Bella are staying. There is an international competition today. You and Bella have to perform."

Ella said, "Really? But we don't know about this competition”.

Ella's father said, "There will also be a friend's company. I will inform them. They will definitely like your design."

Ella then finished the call and returned to the room.

Ella told Bella, "Bella, there's news for you. There's going to be a competition at the hotel today, and we're both going to be competing."

Bella's face lit up with happiness.  She got up and went to Ella and hugged her happily.

Bella said to Ella, "Thank you, Ella. It's all because of you. You've always supported me."

Ella replied, "No thanks, Bella. You are my friend. It is my duty."

Then they both started preparing for the competition.

Jack and Olivia arrive at the hotel.  They both came out of Harry's room.  And Olivia knocked loudly on the door.

I was in the washroom.  I didn't know there was a knock on the door.

Olivia said to Jack, "Why isn't Jack Harry opening the door?”

Jack replied, "He'll be busy. Or maybe he just won't hear."

Olivia turned the door handle slightly and the door opened.

Seeing the door open, Olivia and Jack both went into the room.  But I was not in the room.

Then I opened the washroom door and came out. I looked at Olivia and Jack and wondered, "How did you two get here so early in the morning? I didn't expect that”.

Jack said to me, "Harry, we both thought we'd have breakfast together today”.

I replied, "Very well thought out. We haven't sat together for a long time”.

Olivia told me, "You look handsome today."

Jack laughed and said, "Olivia, doesn't Harry look good every day?"

Olivia replied, "Harry always looks good, but he looks better today”.

I looked at myself in the mirror and said, "If Olivia is praising me. That means I am looking good”.

Suddenly, Olivia saw an Envelope on the table and asked Harry, “what is this Envelope about?”

“I don’t know. Mr. Charles sends me it”. Olivia peeked inside the envelope and said excitingly, “oh! It’s an invitation to a competition held in the same hotel”.

Olivia asked me about Mr. Charles’s manager who contacted her in the morning. “Who is Mr. Charles and why you want to have a business deal with him! This trip was supposed to be an exciting week without any work and here we go again”.

I told Jack and Olivia that I wanted to expand my business in New York and as Mr. Charles was a famous designer in London and he also wanted to open a branch in New York, cooperating with him could be beneficial for us.

Initially, I want you to appoint either Olivia or Jack but as Jack was currently busy with the London branch and Olivia was not yet ready to handle the whole branch so I decided to cooperate with him instead.

Olivia and Jack carefully listened to my idea and agreed with my decision.

Jack and Olivia also decided to attend the competition as a guest to further explore the uprising trends of the Fashion industry. We all started to get ready for the competition and left for the competition on time.

Bella on the other side was working on her jewelry design, her design was so creative and elegant that all participants thought Bella would be the winner.

The competition was held in a huge hall and was attended by many famous fashion designers and celebrities.

All participants were called to settle behind the stage and to get ready for presenting their designs.

Bella and her friend Ella, both were on their way towards the competition hall, Along with their participants.

Then suddenly someone from behind pushed Bella and her sample design fell to the ground and broke into pieces.

With fear, She sat on the ground and tried to gather all the pieces but it was impossible to fix it with only a

time left.

Everything happened so quickly that no one notices the person who actually pushed Bella.

Ella started looking around for the culprit but could not find one.

While standing in the corridor, all participants started looking at each other in suspicion when Ella angrily shouted, “Who pushed Bella? It’s better to come out on your own and confess”. But no one came forward.

Bella held Ella’s hand and asked her and other participants to leave for their competition.

“Even if the person who pushed me comes forward, there's nothing that can be done now. I guess this opportunity was not meant for me”.
