Joe Bandit P.O.V
I let out a breath of air in shock, feeling like I’ve just gotten off an emotional rollercoaster ride.
“That’s insane,” I shook my head back and forth at the drama. “She shot him?” I asked, referring to Mrs. Dawson shooting her own husband to save my father.
My father nodded, as if the thought still surprised him to this day.
“She did it to save an innocent man.” He said in a thankful tone. “If it wasn’t for her, I would be dead. Then who knows how you and your mother would have ended up.”
This made me love Mrs. Dawson all the more. Thankful for her sparing my father and letting him live. I can imagine the pain she must have felt, after she shot her husband. When I thought back to the picture that Chasity showed me, you can tell she was genuinely in love with her husband. So to kill the man that you live, for someone else to live because you k
Joe Bandit P.O.VI shut the door behind me, after exiting my father’s office. Leaned against the door, my head falling back from exhaustion from the news I revived. I feel like I got the wind knocked right out of me. Finding out about what happened between my parents and Chasity’s parents. My mind couldn’t help but think of the horrible consequence if Mrs. Dawson had shot my father. My mother would be a widow trying her best to raise her child all alone. My heart hurt just thinking of it. Sighing, I went to one of the guestrooms in this house, not wanting to see anyone yet. I needed to think of what I would tell Chasity and how I would tell her. My palms started to sweat and I haven’t even told her yet. I walked to the balcony of the room and leaned against the rail. Staring off into the distance, my mind thinks of Chasity. Thinking about wanting to spend more time with her, I pull out my phone to text her.
Chasity Dawson P.O.VWhen I left Joe’s house, mom and I stopped by the store to pick up some snack for our movie night. Then stopped at a drive thru to get food. She and I were too tired to cook, so tonight was takeout. I always enjoyed having a movie night with my mom. I feel like it’s been forever since we’ve done this.Maybe it’s because of her job or because I’ve been spending most of my free time with Joe. I’d like to blame it on both. I’m not complaining though because I understand that she has to work hard and I appreciate all that she does. I also love spending time with Joe and he’s such a great boyfriend, so I love being around him.“Oh, my goodness, I can’t believe he stayed with her after she lost her memory every day,” my mother said in a touching tone.“I know right!?” I bobbed my head up and down. “It’s so sweet.”She nodd
Ben Bandit P.O.VBelle is going to be so pissed. It’s official, my wife is going to kill me. I just know it. She is going to be pissed when I tell her what’s been going on with Chasity’s father and how long I’ve known about it. She and I have always had great communication and we haven’t kept anything from each other until now. My wife just came out of the bathroom in our room. Even at the age of forty-five, she is still beautiful as ever. I walked towards her and wrapped my arm around her and pulling her closer to me; crushing her chest against mine.“Oh!” she said out of surprised. She giggled and threw her arms around my neck.I looked lovingly into her eyes and cupped her face in my hands. She leaned her cheek in the palm of my hand against her face.“What?” she asked with a soft smile.I shook my head and grinned at her with a playful
Andrew Dawson P.O.VHere I was sitting in the office of the man that hired me to kill the Bandits many years ago. He knew that I was still alive, but in hiding. I hid from him and the Bandits until I could heal and plan my revenge. So, when I came back and walked into the building of this man, I was almost shot on the spot. Luckily for me, he told his men to stand down and send me up to his office.Three other men were guarding him. Two outside and one inside. If I thought the other two outside this room were scary looking, with their bodybuilding physics and deadly aura. This guy that stood behind the boss was a whole lot worse. He looked like he could snap me in half and crush my head with his bare hands. I can see why the boss hired him.He leaned back in his seat, calm as ever, “I see, you have finally come out of the hole you crawled in.”I gulped, thinking carefully about what I was going to say. “I wasn’t hi
Chasity Dawson P.O.VWaking up from sleep, I checked my phone and saw that I got a text from Joe.JOE: Good morning babe. I’m on my way and I’ll be there in fifteen minutes. The guys are in the car with me.CHASITY: Good morning! Okie dokie. See you soon babe. He’s always right on time, which was one of the many things I loved about him.Yes, I’m falling in love with Joe bandit. I mean, what isn’t there to love? He’s amazing. I feel so lucky to have an honest, funny, and amazing boyfriend. I never thought of myself as a pretty girl, but it’s touching to see that’s how Joe sees me. Well, beautiful is what he always tells me I am. I smile to myself and quickly rush to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I was finished, I walked back to my room.“Chasity!” shouted my mother. The sound of her voice sounded like it w
Chasity Dawson P.O.V“Dad?” I choked out, needing confirmation that what I was seeing was true.“I’m here honey,” replied my father, his voice cracking at the end, as he stepped closer to me.I let out a cry, unable to speak, because I was full of emotions. A cascade of tears fell from my eyes and I covered my mouth, sobbing in both joy and shock. Not being able to hold myself back any longer, I threw my arms around him, “Where have you been!?”I could physically feel him, which helped make this feel all the more real.I pulled back a bit so that I could look him in the eyes, “How are you here!? How is this possible?” I turned to my mother and threw her an angry look. “You said dad died!” I said with accusation. I was so mad at my mother; I didn’t realize how she must have felt seeing him.She was sitting on the couch, pale faced and hand
Chasity Dawson P.O.VHer face was far from happy when he asked that.I didn’t understand why she wouldn’t be happy, “What’s wrong mom?” I stepped away from my father and walked towards her. Grabbing her hands, and looking into her eyes, searching for answers; my back to my father. She looked at my father, and I thought I saw something in her eyes, but it was quickly wiped away when she cleared her throat and smiled at me as if everything was okay, “Nothing’s wrong. I’m just so happy to see your father.”A tiny part of me refused to believe her, but I decided to accept it for now.A sound went off on my phone, reminding me that my boyfriend was on his way to pick me up. I looked down at my phone and saw that I got a text from Joe.JOE: Pulling in now.I pouted for the first time, not wanting to see him just yet, because I wanted to stay here. I wonder if my mother w
Giovanni Giordano P.O.V“Gio let me out!” growled Chasity.I groaned out loud. “Chasity please calm down.”“Calm down!?” she shouted with surprise. She scoffed, “You’re telling me to calm down.”I was starting to get irritated. She shook her head, and in distaste, “No Gio, I will not calm down.” She pointed her finger at me, “You are all acting so horrible and I am pissed. Let me out of this car now,” she growled, “before I claw your eyes out and send them back in a box to your family in Sicily.”My eyes widened, at hearing her this violent for the first time.“Chasity, just know that I’m doing this because I care,” I said trying to calm the beast down.“Yeah right,” she replied sarcastically. Gesturing to me she sticks out her hand, “I can tell.”

Joe Bandit P.O.VI felt like someone punched me in the gut and I couldn’t breathe. When Gio told me, what happened to John I almost joined him in destroying the house. That didn’t happen, only because Chasity heard Gio throwing things and came running downstairs. When I told her that John died, she threw her arms around me and hugged me tight as she cried her eyes out. My eyes flooded with tears, and I tried to keep it at bay but it was useless. If John saw me crying right now, he’d tell me, “Only girls cry Joe.” Then I’d push him and say “You’ve cried before too! So that makes you a girl!” We’d laugh and head to the theater room to watch a movie. It pained me to know that we would never get to do that again. When the exchange for my mother had been made after my dad signed the documents that would give James complete control of my father’s company, shots were fired. Andr
Joe Bandit P.O.V“You want to know what’s so funny?” I laughed out loud at the sudden thought.Gio and Chasity looked at me. “What?” they asked in unison.I shook my head, “Earlier I could have sworn I saw Payton, as we were coming down the elevator.”Gio’s fork dropped from his hand and onto his plate in shock. “You saw Payton? Here?” He rushed out, looking around in alert. The smile that was on my face fell.“Well, I think I saw her.” I said starting to feel uneasy. “I could be wrong. Why? Is that not a good thing?”Gio stood up and shook his head.“The call that I just had, was from one of our men. He said that he found videos of Payton meeting James Cotton last week and was at your house today while you and your parents were out. She was there when your mother was abducted. Your mother didn’t se
Joe Bandit P.O.VI looked at Chasity’s eyes and couldn’t believe how lucky I got to have this girl in my life. Our situation is weird, considering the fact that her dad tried to kill my parents, but I’m still grateful that one of the results is something that led Chasity into my life. Not wanting to say this, but needing to come clean I tell her my secret, “Chasity, I knew that your dad was alive.”Her eyes widened. “Why didn’t you tell me?”She didn’t pull away from me, so this was a good sign.“My father advised against it. We argued so many times, because I wanted to tell you and he didn’t feel like it was the time to do it.”She looked down, “I heard you guys arguing one time in the office. The door wasn’t fully shut. You were screaming at each other and one of the things you said is something along the lines of, a girl having the right t
Joe Bandit P.O.VThe whole car ride to the safe house, was spent in total silence. No one spoke and no one needed to. I didn’t know that my dad had a safe house. Did my mom know about it? If she did, why didn’t she tell me? It was now an hour and we still weren’t there. We were heading to the mountains and the deeper we went I saw less and less proof of civilization. An hour later, Gio finally spoke up, “We’re here.”I watched as he pulled into a lane that led to a small shack.“You’ve got to be kidding me Gio,” I couldn’t help but say. “I don’t mean to sound spoiled but my father is a rich man. I assumed that he would have bought a bigger safe house.”Gio got out of the car and smirked at me. “Your father is a very rich man indeed.”I raised my brow at the way he spoke. As if he knew something I didn’t.Gio went to Annie to help her walk,
Joe Bandit P.O.VI watched as the man my father brutally beaten groaned from the immense pain he was feeling. His face all bloodied up and bruised, he looked almost unrecognizable. Then again, I’m sure any man would if they were beaten the way Andrew was.“So, what now dad?” I asked, as I watched him pace back and forth. He looked at John instead of me, “I want all the men to be at Owls Tower at eleven. We are meeting James at midnight. He wants me to sign over the rights to my company.”“Yes sir,” nodded John. This is so weird seeing my best friend acting this way. As Andrew was getting a beating from my father, John confessed that my dad hired him as my body guard. John’s family are a part of a secret organization that protects very wealthy men. It doesn’t matter if the person is good or bad. If the money pays well, then the bodyguard the client receives will be even better.
James Cotton P.O.VI smile as everything that I’ve waited for fall into plan. I accept the call, and watch Belle as I pick up the phone. I put it to my ear waiting for the onslaught of threats I know I will receive. If ben is calling me then obviously that idiot Andrew Dawson failed. No matter, I always have a backup plan anyways.“Hi Ben!” I greeted with chipper.“WHERE IS MY WIFE!?” shouted ben from the other side of the line.I cringed and pulled the phone away from my ear.“GIVE ME BACK MY WIFE!!!” he continued to shout.“BEN!!!” Screamed Belle.“BELLE!” shouted Ben, when he heard her voice.I put the phone back to my ear, holding it a bit away because I know he wasn’t done yelling.“You know how this is going to go ben,” I drawled. “We’ve watched enough movies to know what happens here.”&ldq
Belle Bandit P.O.VI groaned in pain as I start to wake up from my sleep. My head is pounding from a serious migraine and my ears are ringing. I’m sitting on a chair with my feet tied with ropes and my arm tied behind my back to a chair. I feel like I got hit my Muhammad Ali in a fight and lost.Feeling Clueless as I scanned the room that I was in, “Where am I?”I was in an empty room with nothing else, but the silence to fill me. My mind tried to recall what I was doing last. Ben had already left for work, and Joe had left to pick up Chasity for school. I was the last to leave and as I was heading to my car, I turned around when I saw a reflection of a man approaching me from behind. They knocked me at the back of the head before I got the chance to turn around. Next thing I know, I wake up here.“Someone please help me!” I shouted as loud as I could, knowing that there’s a chance no one might come.
Joe Bandit P.O.VAndrews eyes widened and he smiled widely. “Ben!” he shouted in fake delight and arms open wide in gesture. His smile then dropped, “What a pleasant surprise,” he sneered.“You should have never came back,” growled my father. “Joe, get my son and Annie out of here.”“Ben,” Mrs. Dawson got ready to argue. She shook her head, not wanting to leave.I looked at my father, not wanting to leave either. Is he stupid!? If he let his guard down, Andrew will kill him.My father looked at me, knowing I was ready to argue. “Go you guys. Now.”John held the gun to Andrew, and backed away slowly. Making sure Mrs. Dawson and I were at the door before him.Hoping John will listen, I look at him with a serious look, “Stay with dad.”He nodded his head, accepting my order. I then turned to Mrs. Daw
