The Meeting

"Now, are you gonna tell me what's going on in that mind of yours?" Jessi asked, hugging her from behind.

Sofia sighed,

"Watching you guys back there on the stairs, I realized how much I was gonna miss all of this...and it just hurts so bad..." She trailed off, emotion-laden.

Jessi regretted asking that question a little, she couldn't help feeling guilty. After all, it was kind of her fault too. She sighed, rubbing Sofia's shoulders.

"I'm sorry about all of that, and if it makes it better, we'll spend all of our time there with you so you never feel alone."

"Thanks, Jess," She smiled, hugging her arms to herself.

"It's alright. Now," Jessi said, turning Sofia to face her. "You're gonna tell me what was on your mind back then at Ted's."

"Nothing," Sofia said, walking away from her.

"Mmhmm," Jessi nodded, Sofia's actions had just confirmed her suspicions. "You're worried about what meeting him's gonna be like right?"
