It wasn't until Julia and Louis had checked on me and declared me healed to their satisfaction that everyone relaxed. I had found out that I had been in a coma for four days and a lot apparently had gone on. The other men had been going out every day and rounding up extra food and supplies for everyone in the hospital. I leaned against the bed for a moment and took a few deep breaths to try to calm my suddenly racing heart. After Benjamin left, the boys and I spent most of the day holed up in my hospital room. The only people to disturb us was Louis and Julia both coming in to check on me and make sure I had healed up properly. The sunlight shined through the gossamer curtains and hit my face. I awoke gently, blinking several times as my eyes tried to adjust to the light.
