"Let's go to the karaoke bar." Said Mia as they made their way towards where Alex had my his parked. It was eight thirty in the evening and a lot of people were heading home.

"It's late, and I have books waiting for me." Came Alex's reply

"And here comes the old Alex." She pouted, buckling her seat belt. Sleep was completely erased off her eyes this time. And she looked active again. "This is the last I'll ask of you tonight. Please, please, please. I want to sing." 

"Remind me never to go somewhere with you again, after today." Alex said.

And Mia snapped her head to look at him. She felt he was beginning to soften. Because the old Alex would refuse to listen to her. But after the stick of dried maggots incident, he was beginning to act more calm around her. So as not to hurt her feelings. She knew he wasn't a bad person. Infact, she felt he had a good heart. But was trying to be rude to people, because it seem he had been through

    Writer's POVWhen she opened her eyes later, she saw herself in Alex's arms, and it looked like he was taking her to where he had his car packed."She cried this morning." Mia said so suddenly, her voice laced with highness. And Alex shot her a look, because he thought she was still asleep."Who cried?" Alex asked, with confusion slamming through his senses."Your not so girlfriend." Was her reply. And then, she let out a sigh, before a breathy moan.She was recalling what had happened with Alex's girlfriend, earlier on that day. Alex's girlfriend was an elegant woman, who seemed flighty rich. At first, she had been jealous when Mia had open the door to her, on that morning. And was demanding who Mia was. Until Alex came and did the introduction. Yet, the woman was restless. And I know that you're a good man."Despite that she was drunk, she felt he deserved to know."Loosen yourself up. Because life has so much to offer. Tomorrow isn't promise.
