Yahn and Cizer returned just in time to stop any further awkwardness between Kamael and I. The moment seemed to be escalating when they walked in. We immediately tore our eyes away from each other. I felt flustered which wasn't supposed to happen. I kept telling myself I had something important ahead of me, I couldn't afford to be distracted.

“We found an inn not far from here, your majesty.”

Yahn informed me as they walked towards the table. I cleared my throat, getting rid of the butterfly feeling I felt at the bottom of my stomach.

"Let's go.”

I mumbled, nervously getting to my feet. I needed to get away from Kamael as fast as I could. My eyes kept darting to him without my permission.

"Pay the nice server boy for the meal.”
