Arden can't even take his hands off her, but a part of her doesn't want to take them either. She likes it secretly. It fueled her thoughts to savor the moment for a while, to live with it, and to let herself be happy for however many minutes without worrying about the reality of their real situation.

Arden closed his eyes as he sniffed her neck, grazing the tip of his nose against her skin and letting himself rest for a bit. It was so comforting that Arden wanted to sleep.

Is this what life means? He asked himself, slowly intoxicated by the addicted happiness he was experiencing at the moment.

He tightened his hug around her. Erina groaned, which made Arden chuckle, amazed that she was trying to whine about the hug but her body isn't resisting at all.
